"Lenny." Thomas's eyes and lips fully parted. He only uses the shirt without the tie and suit. I sit up and since I really need to hug someone, I hug him tightly. "Lenny, love, what is it? Tell me. Brodie gave me a ride, by the way. It was really sincere for him to do it. Just, remember, you still have your friends that will always back you up." He wipes the tears from my face.

"No, it's not that, Thomas. It's Niall. He didn't answer my calls and Luke told mewhat Miles was telling me, slightly true. Niall, he—" I inhale. "He was told to use me. And not to mention, a drug dealer." I hiccup. "But it didn't matter. What matters now is, why does he have to lie to me? And, a part of me believes that Niall is trying to get away from me. I don't know, I feel miserable from the scene in the gym. People literally laughed at me." I can't stop my eyes from watering. I'm too dramatic. "Maybe he doesn't love me. . ."

"Niall loves you! God how many times do I have to tell you this?" He groans.

"Maybe, I should call Zayn or Liam." I grab my phone on my bedside as I dial Zayn's number. And he suddenly picks up.

"Lenny?" Zayn asks.

"Zayn, are you with Niall now?" My heart is racing so hard that is hard to breath.

"Well, I was. He left with a girl, well a friend to his apartment, I don't know, Mel." My heart beats more rapid than it was and my hand is shaking. I hang up quickly as I run downstairs to grab my car keys and grab my maroon coat that hangs on the hanger as I run through the falling snow and to my mom's car. Thomas is still following behind me, calling my name but I don't really care. I get in the car as I command Thomas to follow me. I start to drive the car and it almost squeals despite the slippery driveway.

"Fuck, Lenny! Tell me what's going on!" Thomas shouts.

"Niall is in his apartment with a girl, and—" I start to sob. "I'm afraid that he's going to leave me like people did to me, Thomas!" I whimper.

"Melanie, I, I—"

"Just, don't talk." I wipe the tears by the fabric on my arm that happened to be Niall's sweater. His scent makes my tears fall down drastically. But I keep my emotion straight. I don't want to look like a fucking dramatic sad girlfriend. I park on the parking lot as anger washes over me. I walk in a quick pace and leaving Thomas struggling to be fast.

"Melanie, I can't keep- up, shit." He's trying to catch his breath. "Slow down." His breath starts to let out a kind of asthma attack.

"Do you have asthma?!" I run over to him, leveling his head as I bend down. "Breath."

"No, I don't. Slow down, okay?" He says as I lead him slowly to the elevator. "Come on." I lead him to Niall's room when the elevator opens up.

"I'm okay now." He breaths heavily. "Knock that bitch's door." His accent somehow amuses me. I face the door in front of me. The door Niall and the random girl stays. I let a flick of tear runs down my cheek as my heart keeps on banging me thousand times harder.

"Fuck it." I barge into the room without bothering to knock.

NIALL HORAN

Harry calls me as soon as we drop off Melanie and Thomas. How I wish to be her prom date. But, Thomas' expression is clearly priceless. He's beyond thrilled to come and I credit to myself for making someone happy.

"Yeah." I answer the phone.

"Niall, can I stay in your place for the night?" Harry asks through the line.

"Yeah sure, do you want me to pick you up?" I ask him.

"Yeah, meet me at the Irish Pub." Harry says then hangs up the phone.

I tell Zayn and Liam that I need to pick up Harry to my place. As we get there, we walk up to Harry who is talking to a girl, crying like crazy. We catch up Harry as I ask Harry if he's ready.

"Niall, can we bring this girl? She seems so upset and she doesn't know where to go." Harry asks me.

"Uh, I don't kn—" I scrunch my nose.

"Please, Niall." Harry begs me as his caring attitude smacks the back of my head to be more like him. Apparently, my only caring attitude is only for Melanie and no other. I'm way too careless when it comes to things other than Melanie.

"Fine, but, we leave soon." I told Harry and the girl behind him. She looks like a wreck.

"Oh, we're staying here a bit." Liam says as Zayn nods, ordering shots for himself.

"Okay, see ya guys." I wave at my two bestfriends as the three of us walk to my car. Harry leaves me by myself as he talks to the girl, who is incredibly drunk. I don't bother asking her for her name because she seems busy talking and whining to Harry. I don't get Harry if he's being a caring person he is or he just needs an experience with an American. We walk up to my room as Harry puts the girl on the couch, next to me.

"El, I'll be in the shower. I need to clean myself up." Harry smiles at the girl. "Look out for her." Harry points the blonde drunk girl.

"Ugh, whatever." I shake my head as I take a sip of my remaining beer on the desk and end up watching a football match on the tv.

"Hi." The girl greets me.

"Yeah, you okay?" I assure her, as I try to distant myself from her.

"No. How am I supposed to be okay if I came here all the way from another city to meet my boyfriend that happened to be a fucking drug dealer and cheated on me with a slut? And he was the one that broke up with me." She starts to cry out. "I've been with him for almost two years and he dumped me heartless, leaving me stranded in this huge city and I don't know what to do in my life anymore." She sobs loudly and won't stop herself from crying. Her eyes are swollen red. She looks just like an innocent girl that got her first heartbroken. I suddenly feel a huge pity on her.

I sit closer to her as I grip her shoulder. She looks at me with those guilt eyes. "Everything's going to be okay."
