“Where are we going?” I ask Niall, shouting precisely.
“Out.”
“Care to be more descriptive?” I shoot a glare.
“Care to be more hurry?” He growls.
“What’s with the rose and the dickhead attitude?” I shake my head as I finish doing my dishes. I walk up to him and wrap my hands around his waist then stand on my tippy toes to give his lips a peck. His hair is the style that I have always adored, which he probably noticed that’s why he puts his hair on a quiff.
“Let’s go.” He leads me out the door and I get myself in the car.
“So, where were you this morning?” I ask him and turn on the radio on his car and switch the mode to cd as Ed Sheeran Multiply album is playing. I moved my cds from my mom’s car to Niall’s, because my mom wouldn’t want me to play my songs.
“Church.” He smiles. “With your mum.”
“No way.” I scrunch my nose.
“Way way.” He chuckles. “Your mom had gone with my dad somewhere and I told her I have plans with you afterwards.”
“Why didn’t you wake me up?”
“Because I have plans!” He shakes his head.
“Chill, jeez.” I stick my tongue out at him.
“Chill, jeez.” Niall mimics me dramatically and I briefly send him a glare, holding my laugh at how silly he acted me. “You’re so american.”
“Why are you suddenly being racist?” I joke.
“No, I’m not. You're just assumed that I am when I’m clearly just saying the fact that you are american. So, you’re the one who is being racist.” He swiftly says without looking at me.
“Whoa, I was just kidding.” I wave my hands up in attempt to surrender.
“I know.” He smiles, squinting his eyes like a kid. I start to ramble around about the weather and sing along with Ed Sheeran and also, Niall. We arrive at the place and a big fence built up in front of the car. It’s remotely out of people’s reach and I can see bushes all the way, covering of what’s inside. “No one comes here, so, just say that this is an abandoned park.” He informs me, getting out of the car as he leads me to a small entrance where it’s nearly impossible to see. It’s a small round of bush and when he grabs my hand to lead me inside, I see a jogging trail that rounds the whole place, high hills with green fresh grass covered the dirt and trees that are still fertile.
“How come people never been here?” I ask Niall without looking away from the simple view. I shove my hands inside my jacket pocket to avoid the chilly breeze.
“Well, since it’s remote from the city and neighborhood, I guess. I don’t know.” Niall says, carrying a picnic bucket and a guitar in his left hand after he locked his car with the key.
“Let me help you.” I say as I help him carry the guitar from his hand.
“Thanks.” He mumbles as he walks me up to the highest hill. He stands right under the big old tree that turns to the shade of yellow and orange and the leaves start to fall relentlessly. He spreads the fabric on the grass for us to sit on and he puts the basket beside him as he sits down. He doesn’t bother me at all because I’m too impressed by how Ohio—well, Columbus—looked beautiful from up here. It looks really pretty and I could stare at it for hours. But, then, right in front of me is the view that can never be replaced. He taps the fabric to gesture me to sit. I smile at him and put the guitar down as I sit back with my arms prop my weigh.
“I love this.” I state as I hang my head back to see the leaves color changing to yellow and orange. A leave fell onto my face as I giggle and back to look at him. He looks at me with full of tendency and I smile at him. “We should be here more often.”
“Well, I want to ask Trevor to go with me here to chill and play some instruments but that would be really gay, so,” He chuckles. “you happened to be the first one that I ever brought here.”
“That’s so sweet of you, Niall.” I blush, looking away to the cloudy weather.
“Well, I’m really starving.” He opens the basket and shoves out a pan of Domino’s. I gape at him in awe.
"You really know my ideal perfect date.” I laugh. “Gosh, this should be my favorite moment.” I say as I open the pan to see 8 slices of pizza. He laughs and shoves out two chocolate lavas and the last thing he brought is Coca Cola. My smile starts to fade at the thought of coke. I don’t drink coke, I know, I’m awful, I know.
