We were at the hospital for y/n's brother, Alexi. And I was trying my best to calm her down. Her brother has a epilepsy and just had a very bad seizure. I was also trying to calm down because I knew Alexi well too and I also knew how important he is to y/n. When she was just a little girl her father got drunk and abandoned her and Alexi, since then they've been inseparable.

It seems like lots of doctors and nurses were all collecting in his room, like there was an emergency. Me and y/n waited and waited for someone to tell us if he's okay. "Taylor....what if something happened?", her voice cracked. I knew she was scared if she used my actual name in a sentence. "Hes so strong y/n, you both are. I know he's gonna keep fighting", I told her and kissed her hand. Alexi's room was far down the hall and it seems that all these rooms were sound proof because we couldn't hear anything.

Suddenly, a nurse walked up to us with her head low. "Mrs. Y/l/n I'm am so so sorry to tell you you're brother passed. The seizure did damage to his brain causing him to stop all vital functions", she said. For a second y/n didn't say or do anything she just froze. "Take all the time you need. His stuff is still in his room if you'd like to get it, and if not I can get somebody else to do it", she said. "No its fine, I'll get his stuff", she got up and walked to his room. I followed her and closed the door behind us as we got in. She bent down to pick up his backpack, when she suddenly dropped and and started crying.

She then got up and banged her hand into the wall. I ran up between her and the wall. "Hey, stop don't hurt yourself. This isn't your fault", I told her as she slid against the wall to the floor. I pulled her into my lap and my arms. "Shh shh, it's gonna get better i promise", I said while rubbing her back soothingly. She pushed me away, "get better!? I just lost my fucking brother....how's this supposed to get better", she sobbed. I brought her back into my embrace and kissed her forehead.

"I love you, and I know it'll get better because you're so strong and you'll get through it. And I'll be there with you every step of the way",I told her as I held her tightly.
