"Goodnight baby", I said to taylor who was laying next to me. "Goodnight, babygirl", she turned over to kiss me and draped her arm around my stomach. At first I fell asleep and felt at peace and calm. But very soon, I wouldn't be so at peace. Suddenly, I woke up and taylor wasn't next to me. I also noticed that the room was darker than when I had fallen asleep. It felt as if someone were watching me, or possibly in the room with me. In a panic, I tried to get up and look for Taylor. But it was as if an extremely strong force was pushing my chest down onto the bed, disabling me from moving even the slightest bit. I quickly got worried and scared, I tried my best to move and turn my head, but I couldn't. My panic was making me shake, not move, but just jitter. It wasn't that I could feel anything or that my chest hurt, I could physically feel two hands shoving my chest down, yet no person near. Mentally, I was trashing and screaming bloody murder, but my body wasn't a reflexion of that at all.

Fairly soon, the pressure on my chest would increase to the point where breathing was becoming a struggle. In an attempt to scream, nothing came out, a silent and unsuccessful cry for help that wasn't available. I couldn't make any noise nor move my mouth, just my eyes. I started silently crying, my tears being the only warm thing I felt. Then I heard my door knock fiddle and slowly open, a complete relief. I had believed it was taylor coming back from the kitchen or even the music room, but I soon realized it most definitely was not taylor. It was a dark figure, tall too. It didn't make any noise, at least not any that I could hear. But it kept moving closer to me. Petrified, I kept trying to scream for help, and nervously checking for Taylor's presence anywhere but never finding it. The figure was atleast 10 feet tall, with 2 angry white eyes that stayed fixated on my body, and long sharp claws on it's hands, the kind you'd see in a nightmare. It kept inching its way over to my bed, appearing to have the exact intention of hurting me.

I kept shaking, crying, and silently screaming with no use of it whatsoever. And the the pressure on my chest didn't let up either. Once the figure reached my bed, I vigorously tried to shut my eyes closed so I didn't have to bear the sight of the creepy thing. But when I did, I saw a bathtub full of blood. I quickly opened my eyes to see that the figure was now on top of me and using it's hands to press on my chest and shoved as hard as It could, down. My last breath hitched and I screamed, but this time, audibly. I shut my eyes spite knowing I'd see the gory image again and when I opened them taylor was wide awake. "Y/n! Y/n! What happened", she asked rapidly. I just let out loud sobs and started shaking again. I anxiously checked every corner of the room to make sure the figure was gone for good. "Hey, Princess, it's just me. Breathe okay? Just breathe", she guided me and repeatedly kissed every inch of my face. "I-I, I saw something", I whimpered in her embrace. She carefully brought me in her lap and soothingly rubbed my back up and down. "What happened?", she asked, a little more calmly now.

"I woke up and y-you weren't there, and-and I couldn't move at all. Then something was pressing on my chest and I-I couldn't breathe. Then this black figure came opened the door and got ontop of me and pushed on my chest so hard I actually could breathe. And I tried screaming but nothing came out, and when I closed my eyes I saw a bathtub full of b-blood", I cried into her neck. She clicked her tongue, "Baby, I think you had sleep paralysis", she told me and I cried even harder. "But it felt so real", I cried and she kissed my neck softly, "shhh, I know baby, I know", she told me. "Wanna go back to sleep? I promise I'll hold you for the rest of the night", she tried to comfort me. "No!", I immediately shut her down. "Okay, that's okay. I'm just gonna stay up with you then", she said and turned on the lamp light. She grabbed the remote and clicked power to watch something on the TV. "I'm right here baby, I won't go anywhere", she whispered sweet nothings in my ear.
