I woke up and I checked to see if y/n was in the kitchen or out of our room. But the bedroom door was still locked. I knocked on it to see if maybe she'd be willing to talk.  And then I heard her walking towards the door but didn't open it. "Go away!", she said. "Baby can I please talk to you? It'll be quick and you don't have to talk back", I said. Suddenly and opened the door. It looked like she was crying a lot. I wanted to just hug her and never let go. But she wouldn't let me do that.

"So?", she asked annoyingly. "I don't know what to say other than I'm really really really sorry. I obviously didn't mean it, at all. You do have a control over your life because its your life. I'm the one who needs to chill out. And your self harming, it's in the past and it's gonna stay there, I love you-", I cut myself off, because I saw this look in her eye. The look of someone who was hiding something. The look she had after everytime she'd hurt herself. I tilted my head, "y/n what'd you do?", I asked seriously. She started crying again and fell to her knees. "I-i didn't plan to. I j-just did it", she sniffled. "Where?", I asked again with a serious tone. She lifted up her shirt to reveal several cuts on her ribcage. "No baby. Please no", I mumbled and pulled her into my lap. "I was just thinking of it, and then you said that, so I just couldn't take it anymore. It was just one urge, I don't have it anymore", she said in between cries.

I picked her up, and brought her downstairs to the kitchen. I sat her on the counter and got out bandaids. I put them on the cuts and kissed her belly after. Before pulling down her shirt. "Please don't ever do that again. Please baby you know now how badly it ends.", I told her she nodded and hugged me again. I moved my hands to her back and brought her closer. "Cmon let's go watch something", I said. She nodded and hopped off the counter.

No amount of apologies can undo what I said. Neither undo what she did. But after that day we made unforgettable progress in our relationship, progress that made us closer an more open with our emotions.
