Scary Movies

"Nooo Taylor, why a scary one? Why not a comedy?", I whined as Taylor dragged me to the couch. "Because...it builds character", she said making me swat her arm, "Stop, I'm serious. I hate scary movies. The jump scares are so annoying, and it leaves me thinking an old wrinkly hand is going to grab me out from under the bed", I said making her laugh.

"and when do I ever not protect you?", she asked, waiting for my answer. "Never, but- No buts. Sit.", she interrupted me and yanked me down to sit next to her, earning a prominent pout to form on my lips. "Enough pouting, baby girl", she said and put her hand on my thigh, "I'll pout if I want to", I snapped and she chuckled. Taylor clicked on the movie and I tried to sneak the remote out from her hand, but she smirked and threw it onto the other couch so I had no chance of sneaking it away from her.

The movie began and I already had shivers down my spine; ones that I chastised myself for having. Its just a movie I told myself every time they came running down my back. Taylor held my hand when the really scary parts showed, and she let go when they didn't. "Ahh!", I squealed when a random scare came on, I mean, it was out of no where. "HA!", Taylor laughed at me, making me clench my jaw, "Stop laughing. It wasn't funny, I hate this movie", I whined and she playfully rolled her eyes.

Around halfway through the scary film, I crawled my way into her lap and stuffed my face into her neck. She kissed my head repeatedly and placed her hands under my shirt to graze her fingers along my bare back. The occasional, "Its just a Movie" or "I'm here", would quietly fall from her lips which honestly made me silently blush. I think she knew my blush was there, because when I would look up at her, her smile clear and she looked really happy. "I love you", she mumbled. I've never heard her say that before, but I felt it too.

"I love you too, Tay"
