Y/n pov

Me and Taylor were driving to somewhere I wasn't aware of for a date, ready for a surely calming afternoon. The sun was just barely going down and the soothing breeze blew through our hair as we drove with no roof.

Taylor had promised me a surprise date, giving me no information on the evening but instead kindly kidnapping and taking me there herself. "Tay! Where are you taking me?", I giggled when we took another turn, "Just trust me babygirl, I promise it'll be worth it", she told me and squeezed my hand reassuringly.

A few moments later was all it took to get to our assumed destination, "Close your eyes", Taylor instructed me. "Now you're really kidnapping me", I nervously said and shut my eyes closed. "Why would I do that? You're already mine, princess", she responded which made me blush a bit. I felt her hands on my shoulders, guiding me to the spot she was taking us to.

When she stopped moving so did I, "okay, open your eyes now baby", she told me so I did. What I saw was gorgeous; the dazzling city view from below me, lights shimmering through the glow of the soon arrving nightfall. "Taylor...it's beautiful", I told gushed, she smiled and walked up behind me, "I know, I wanted you to know what it feels like to see something so beautiful right infront of you, 'cause it wouldn't be fair if only I got to", she cleverly said, turning me around to make me look into her eyes.

Something about those piercing blue optics, they always seemed to have an electrifying effect on me. Shivers would occasionally run through my spine once I caught her gaze, and I wouldn't be able to look away. They made her appear only more personable and friendly; almost disabling her from being mean.

"I love you so much", she mumbled to me, "I love you more tay", I said, "not true, I love you to the moon and back", she said back, "well, I love you to.....Saturn and back", I said, she just chuckled, "I love you to the Moon and to Saturn", she finalized. I just huffed before sitting down on the cliff-like hill, her sitting down next to me right after. "You're so pretty", she told me out if the blue, I didn't really know how to take a compliment so I just shook my head. "Dont shake you're head, you really are pretty. The prettiest girl I've ever seen", she said which made me roll my eyes. "We both know that can't be true", I chuckled but she didn't, "well it is. Y/n y/l/n you are so gorgeous, don't doubt yourself. Maybe you don't see it, but I certainly do; you don't see the way you bite your cheek when your bored, you don't hear when you make cute little noises when you stretch, you don't see how it looks when you're sleeping and your chest is rising and falling, you don't see it. So how could you say your not pretty when you don't see yourself when you are the most", she said. A short smile tugged at my lips,

I don't know if these butterflies will ever fly away.

But I don't want them to.
