Blue stood at the curb of her apartment building, with a billion dollar check in her hand, as she watched Leland's limousine drive away, with his words echoing like a soundless alarm in her head.

"The choice is yours, Dr. Hunter."

She weighed the options she had, thoughts of rejoining her friends and Ethan at Edenbrook flooded her mind. This was the solution that everyone at Edenbrook had been wishing for months.

Though the building itself was to be sealed by the end of the day, with Leland's acquisition, Edenbrook itself as a medical corporation would be able to be reopened.

Smiling, Blue felt herself growing excited with the prospect. She immediately, turned towards her building, wanting to inform her friends and even give Naveen a call. It was everything that everyone had been hoping for.

However, just as she reached the top step, Blue stopped in her tracks, realization hitting her like a brick.

Edenbrook, under Leland would not be the same.

He had said so himself, that he was going to remake it. He was going to place the main focus of the hospital's mission to be research, she could forsee it. His main priority is, and was always going to be his wife, Caroline. A man like him, would go to any extent to cure her with the amount of wealth he had in his disposal.

Would that really be worth it at the end of the day?

Blue safely tucked the check into the pocket of her sweatpants, and began to walk up to her apartment again, a flurry of thoughts racing through her mind. The sort of attitude that Leland had, and the determination he had in curing his wife, could definitely lead to important breakthroughs the medical world had never dreamt of before...or expectations that no one could ever have hoped to meet. A sense of trepidation filled her as she tossed the dilemma in her head further.

Could she really hand the lives of every doctor, every patient, to a man whose only interest was to fuel his own desire and motives?

However at the same time, if she does not do that, Edenbrook will be gone for good. Any good and positive things that it could still do, would perish along with it.

Blue sighed as she fished out her keys to the apartment, while shifting all the milkshakes she was carrying to one hand.

Out of all people, how could Leland Bloom give such an impossible choice to her?

She stepped into the apartment, where she found Sienna, Elijah and Aurora already awake, and lounging around in the living room.

"Morning!" Sienna beamed at her.

"Please tell me you were out picking up doughnuts." Elijah said, as he tossed the newspaper he was reading onto the coffee table in front of him.

"No, but I've got some milkshakes." Blue said, placing the bags she was holding onto the coffee table as well, before sitting next to Aurora on the couch. "Where's Jackie?" she asked them, reaching forward to get her chocolate-banana shake.

"By the sound of things? Still snoring in her bedroom." Aurora shrugged, peeling the plastic off the straw for her drink. "Though...I guess there's no need to get up early anymore."

"Speak for yourself." Elijah grinned as he took a sip of his own milkshake. "It's my first day off in forever! I'm not going to waste it."

"Well, I think we should sieze the day." Blue replied with a nod. After all, she had woken up early to do something productive, and by productive, she had meant wathing her shows.
