Elio POV

I ran in to my dorm, "Yes! I made the-" I paused for a second, I forgot Selene wasn't here, so who is my-, at that moment my question was answered by my teammate from Johto Ethan entering the same room, "Oh. Hey Elio. Guess we're roommates huh." I nodded, "Guess so. I'll let you have first pick for beds and what not." Ethan smiled, "Appreciate it. I think I'll take that one over there... It's been a long day and I need a nap." I shrugged, "Understandable. I think I'm going to head out and see if I can't make some more friends here." I then walked back out of my room and in to the common area where students liked to meet at. There's a fountain in the middle of the campus that everyone likes to be around when they study or eat, or just want to talk. I walked to it and spotted my friend Selene. "Hey Selene!" Next to Selene was Hilda, another teammate of mine, I said hello to her as well and she returned a smile. I rested my elbows on the railing of the fountain as I talked, "So you two just meet?" Selene shrugged, "Guess so. By the sound of it, you two already know each other." Hilda nodded, "Yup! We both made the Pokemon Battling Team!" Selene smiled, "You actually made it Elio! Congrats!" I smiled, "Thanks Selene. So do either of you know some good places in town to eat or have fun?" Hilda shook her head, "I don't. I just got here." Selene began to speak and I was listening, but my attention got drawn to Dawn, who was walking and talking next to a blonde girl with a ponytail and a white hoodie and skirt. That sure looks like... I felt a hard smack on the back of my head and I almost face planted in the water of the fountain in front of me. I looked back, and sure enough it was Selene. "What?" Selene shrugged, "You weren't listening." Hilda reeled from it and I looked over to her reassuringly, "She does that." But that girl I saw just a second ago... It couldn't be...

Lillie POV

I was walking next to my new friend Dawn, we were having a good time and were in the middle of an interesting conversation about our pasts and what not, but I had zoned out. Dawn cocked her head at me, "Lillie? You ok?" I shook my head, "Huh? Oh yeah I'm good. I just... I saw a person who looked... Awfully familiar...." Dawn replied quickly, "Are they like a threat to you or something?" I quickly shook my head, "N-No not at all... Quite the opposite really." Dawn relaxed a bit, "Ah ok. So where do you recognize them from?" I sighed, "Well...I don't know if it's him or not...but he sure reminds me of my old friend... We went through a lot together, but we ended up losing contact when I moved away." Dawn frowned, "That's horrible...want to go back there and see if it's him?" I nodded, "I do. But... I have to go back to my dorm room... I haven't even checked in it yet." Dawn scratched her head, "Oh yeah? I think your roommates with someone from Hoenn." I shrugged, "Should be interesting to find out. See you later Dawn." "See ya Lillie."

May POV

I put down the piece of pizza I was eating and looked to the door. Brendan and I went to the on campus pizza place earlier and I gotta say it's pretty good, I guess my roommate just got here though so I should probably focus on that. She walked through the door, white hoodie with a white skirt, and a long blonde ponytail behind her, she greeted me, "Hello!" I smiled, "Hey! You must be Lillie." She nodded, "Yup that's me, and you're May right?" I nodded, "In the flesh." Lillie smiled, "Cool! What're you studying for?" I sighed, "Well... I feel kinda bad... Everyone else is so excited and knows what they want to be and what not...I'm undeclared... I just have no idea what I'm doing..." Lillie frowned, "I understand, I was there for the longest time too, but traveling around Alola with one old friend of mine when I was younger and going to Alola's ruins and the like, and thinking about it all when I moved to Kanto...it really made me want to study more history in other regions." I looked back at Lillie excitedly, "Awesome! Yeah my friend Brendan and I got much more involved in Hoenn's history than I wanted to be..." Lillie laughed dryly, "Tell me about it, almost died because of Alola's." It's pretty cool to have a roommate you have a lot in common with.

Brendan POV

I opened the door to my room and saw my roommate reading a book of some kind. I waved and then laid down on the available bed, he looked over to me, "You're Brendan right?" I nodded, "Yep that's me." He nodded, "Thought so, you look just like what my friend Dawn described you as." I sighed "Let me guess, she mentioned the-" "-The hat yes. She did." I snapped my fingers, "One day people will know me for more than that." Lucas chuckled, "Yeah that'd be nice wouldn't it? So... You guys practicing tomorrow?" I nodded, "If you mean the battling team then yeah. Why do you ask? Ok hold on first of all I don't even know your name." He looked over to me apologetically, "Ah! I'm sorry, I'm Lucas. And as for the practice thing, I'm a big fan of battling, never been good at it myself but I just find it so interesting." I smirked, "Trust me, if you're that interested I'm sure you're short selling yourself. But yeah, I've seen some of the other teams here and I'm sure it won't be easy to go undefeated." Lucas cocked his head, "Brendan, no one's ever gone undefeated totally in Division 1. The way Pasio University usually plays, it would be lucky if you guys can even get equal wins and losses." I sighed, "Well the entire team is made of freshman so, yeah, we might do a bit better." Lucas shrugged, "I hope so. Wouldn't be much fun to watch if you guys aren't competitive."

Serena POV

"Mom I'm doing fine, I made the team just fine like you said." I said reassuringly to my Mom. She sighed with relief, "I'm so glad to hear that Serena! I always knew you were one of the best." I giggled, "Awh, I don't think I'm the best but I'm happy to be here." I heard Mom say back, "You are the best Serena, your father and I knew it for sure! If you need anything let us know...who's your roommate by the way?" I began to answer but then I heard Gloria's accented voice from the other room, "DARN! Professor Kukui rejected my jersey number!" I turned to her, "one second mom... how? what number did you ask for?" "Sixty-" "Ok I understand why." My mom questioned, "Wh- who is that?" "My roommate, Gloria this is my Mom." "Nice to meetcha." "You too Gloria. You two have fun alright?" I responded, "Will do Mom, see you." I hung up and then looked over to Gloria, "So what number are you gonna pick now?" "Forty-Two." "Wh- Oh. Of course." Gloria snickered and then laid down on her bed.
