Commentators POV

"AND THAT IS IT! Pasio University wins a fourth straight game after beating Vermillion! They are now 4-2!" I yelled as once again Pasio threw together another win. This could continue for a while, this team improves drastically every time they come out. I'm excited to see what this team can do. And before the midseason break on December 1st. they'll have played 15, and I can't wait to see how that goes.

Kukui POV

I crashed on the couch and looked up at the ceiling. Unbelievable. These freshman have given us an incredible season so far. We are 11-3. That is an unprecedented record for our team. Burnet sat down by me and held out her phone, "Kukui look! Calem, Elio and Brendan all made MVP voting!" I looked at her phone and laughed, "And they deserve it, what a season it's been. I mean put aside the loss to Lumiose that could've gone either way, and you could say that after those first two, we've been nothing short of perfect." Burnet nodded, "Yes. You can quite literally say that." I laughed, "Whatever. Tell ya what though, I think we'll beat Hulbury tomorrow, and I think we'll have 12 wins going in to Christmas break." Burnet sat down next to me, "What in the world makes them so different?" I sighed, "I really don't know. They all come from different places, walks of life, and personalities, and yet when they come together for that common goal, they work like a well oiled machine." Burnet nodded, "I have Dawn and Hilda in my class, and it's unbelievable how much chemistry and motivation they have about this team. I think you made something special." I smiled, "I think so too."

Calem POV

"YES!" I threw my hat in pure excitement as Ethan got us the last point for the 6-4 win. We are 12-3. My goodness. The crowd erupted as Hulbury headed for the exit. Serena couldn't contain her excitement and ran on to the field to embrace me. I laughed as she screamed happily, "That was amazing Cal!! I'm so happy for you!" I laughed and released her, "Thank you so much!" Elio walked over and it looked like a light bulb went off in his head. Serena looked over, "Elio?" Elio shook his head, "Apologies, I couldn't tell if you guys were dating yet. So uh, yeah congrats you two." Serena stared blankly then laughed, "Oh. Well thanks!" I laughed too and then left with Serena out of the stadium. What a first half for my first season huh?" I looked on my phone to check where we were in the standings.

Serena pointed on my phone, "L-look! You guys are so close to the top spot!" I nodded, "Yeah..." Serena smiled, "You know. You've grown a lot since we first met. You used to be so nervous, but now you're almost a perfect person!" I laughed as I scratched the back of my head, realizing that I don't have my hat, but I'm ignoring that for now. "I wouldn't say that. Heh. In fact I'm no different at all. I just have you. You make me a whole different person." Serena smiled and then placed a kiss on my cheek for the first time. I reeled, that was unexpected. I then smiled, "You're the best Serena." She blushed brightly but continued to smile , "...I love you Calem." I hugged her, "I love you too Serena." I heard the door to the locker room swing open and saw Elio and Lillie, Elio looked over apologetically, "Oh. Uh... Sorry I didn't mean to interrupt... Lillie found your hat." He said as he threw it like a frisbee over to the ground near me. He then looked up and then turned around, Lillie waiting at the door, giggling at his embarrassment. I sighed and then went back to hugging Serena.
