Chapter 14- The Holidays

Victor POV

"I'm gonna miss ya Victor, but if you see Mum or Lee in Wedgehurst, tell em I said hi, yeah?" Hop said as I was about to board the Corvinight Taxi back home. I nodded, "I will. I'm really excited to see Kira again." Kira is my sister I mentioned briefly earlier, she's about 6 now... Yeah it's pretty crazy. Gloria stood next to Hop, "Yeah. I haven't seen Kira in years heh. Tell her I said hi." I nodded, "I will. See you guys in January." I hugged Hop and Gloria one last time before flying off in the taxi. I'm gonna miss my friends... But I've missed my family too, so I'll be alright. Plus I get to tell them all about how well the team is doing.

Days before the Christmas Party

Hilda POV

I was standing by the fountain dresses in my pink winter coat, Emboar standing next to me to help keep me warm. I thought it was so interesting to see the fountain frozen as it is. Now though, I'm trying to think of something I can get Hilbert for Christmas. Since he's pretty much my best friend I figure I should at least get him something, even if it isn't that great. I mean I'm a poor college student, do you really think I can- nevermind. I looked around the plaza for some of the local store... Thing is I barely know what he likes besides...water pokemon. Maybe he'd like something relating to that... I walked in to a local gift shop and began to browse for something for him, I saw Elio there as well looking around, and so was Brendan, who was looking at a lot of hair ribbons...I think I know why. I searched around and found a stuffed Kyogre...that's the one I think. I purchased it moments later, it was rather small but I really like it. I can't wait to give it to him.

May POV

Lillie and I are out and about doing some Christmas shopping, we decided mutually to not get each other anything because we'd rather be able to afford to eat and pay our tuition at the same time. We visited a small gift shop just outside of the campus. I took a really fancy pokeball and turned it around in my hand... Brendan might like this... Nah I should find something different. I saw Lillie found something that she had in her hands... I looked over to her, "What's that?" Lillie looked up, "Hm? Oh. This hat looks just like the one he has now... But it has Primarina's color scheme on it... I think he'd like it." I smiled, "I think he would too." Lillie then looked at me, "What do you think you'll get Brendan?" I looked down, "I'm not sure... I just... Er... Well he just like battling, and he has everything he needs for that." Lillie smiled, "No problem! I'll help you out all I can!" I smiled, "Thanks!"

Christmas Day

Dawn POV

I woke up early this morning, I'm always excited to get up Christmas morning. I was celebrating today with Ethan, Lyra, and Lucas. I wanted Kris to come too, but she went home to see her family in Johto. I ran out to where the celebration was beginning. I saw Ethan talking and laughing with Lucas and flagged them both down.
They both walked over to me and we exchanged hugs. I smiled, "Hey you two! Where's Lyra?" Lyra appeared behind me, "I've been behind you this whole time! Merry Christmas everyone!" She said as we once again exchanged hugs. I looked around, "You guys eat breakfast?" Ethan shook his head, "Nah. I was too excited to get out here and see all the decorations and stuff." Lyra also shook her head, "Same." Lucas shrugged, "I had a granola bar." I clapped my hands, "Well come on then! Let's get something to eat!" I said happily as I led the way to the table.

Elio POV

I took in a deep breath. Today. Im- I'm gonna do it... I met up with Selene before, I cleared it with her that I fully intended on making my move today, so I'd celebrate Christmas with her this morning. I got her a Rowlet pin she can put on her bag or on her shirt. I saw her and walked over happily, "Merry Christmas Selene!" She smiled back, "Merry Christmas Elio! Here..." She held out a Dream Ball. "... I thought you'd like a pokeball to keep Primarina in that was more... Color coded I suppose." I took it and thanked her and then held out the Rowlet pin I got here, "Here. I know you and Rowlet are always together, so even when you can't be I got you something to remind you of him." I handed it to her and she smiled, "Well thanks Elio! Merry Christmas." We hugged each other and then Selene clapped her hands. "Now you know the goal, I need my cheesy romance show to air, so you go out there and get Lillie ok?" I nodded and laughed, "Alllright fine. I'll do my best." She patted me on the back, "Good. See you later for dinner." She headed off to go meet some other friends of hers. Now it's time...man I'm nervous... I walked in to where the party is being held. Ice sculptures everywhere, they're very nice. If I wasn't nervous beyond belief I'd take some time to appreciate them. I then saw Lillie. She was dressed in a white hoodie with light blue strings. She also had some warm looking pants on, so I guess she gets pretty cold. I walked up to her, "Hey Lillie! Merry Christmas!" She turned back, "Elio! Merry Christmas!" We hugged and then separated. I took in a deep breath and then asked her, "Hey... Y'know I've never gotten a chance to do it before living in Alola, so uh- you want to do some ice skating?" Lillie excitedly nodded, "Yeah! It sounds like a ton of fun!" We walked side by side and went over to the frozen lake. Here goes nothing...
