May POV

I woke up early in the morning and made myself some tea. I mindlessly stirred it while I was trying not to fall back asleep. I had a thought enter my mind, supposedly there were seasonal parties here at Pasio University, A Harvest Festival, A Christmas Party, and I think lastly a Spring Party before the end of term. Well that could be exciting. I sighed and buried my face in my arms. I'm so tired... I heard rustling around me and I heard Lillie start to move around the room. I lifted my head up and blinked a couple times to see her, Lillie looked back, her hair was a mess compared to what I was used to, mine was too though to be fair. "Hi May." "Hey Lillie..." Lillie sighed, "I'm not much of a morning person..." I put my head back down and replied muffled by my arm, "Me neither." Lillie began to fix her hair and then later grabbed her bag and headed off to class. I looked up and then got myself up after finishing my tea. I grabbed my hair ribbon and fixed my hair with it before putting on my usual clothes and leaving. On the way there I saw Lillie ahead of me sitting by the fountain, I walked over to her, "Something wrong?" Lillie sighed, "No... I forgot I don't have classes until the afternoon." I laughed, "I understand. So what're you gonna do now?" She sighed, "I uh... I guess I'll just sit here and study what I can." I smiled, "Good luck with that, I gotta go to Math, so I'll catch you later if you're still here."

Elio POV

I walked casually towards the fountain, I'm on my way to Gym Leading 101, but I'm not actually 100 percent sure where it is... I'll ask someone, I saw someone sitting on a bench facing the fountain and I walked up behind her, "Hey excuse me do you know...where... Gym le-.....Lillie!?" I was met by a surprised but smiling face of the girl that might be my old friend from Alola. "Elio!" We hugged right there, talk about good luck. We separated and I scratched the back of my head, "I can't Believe you're here too! That's amazing! It's been so long..." Lillie nodded, "It has... I guess you figured out we never got to move back to Alola..." I sighed, "I was still holding out hope. Honestly I figured you just forgot who I was." Lillie giggled, "I'm forgetful sure, but the stuff we went through is impossible to forget." I smiled, "Oh! That reminds me how's-" Ethan approached me at this moment, "Hey Elio? You going to Gym Leading?" I sighed, "Yeah. Good to see ya Lillie." Lillie smiled and nodded, "Good to see you too! Uh... You want to go get a pizza later?" I was being dragged away by Ethan as I gave her a thumbs up, "Sure!" She giggled, "Great! See you then."

Professor Sycamore greeted us as we both entered, "Ethan. Elio. Just on time." Ethan looked over to me, "See." I shrugged, "Good to hear Professor." We sat through the hour long lecture about what types of pokemon to use at gyms depending on the amount of badges the challenger had. I sighed, I don't know what I expected, but maybe this whole thing may not be for me. Battling without going all out is just... I dunno it's not satisfying. I tapped my fingers on the desk as I got up and exited. Just a few classes left today, then when I'm done with those we have practice and then I'm gonna go meet Lillie for some pizza later. I wonder if Selene might want to come too? I'll ask her. At some point. If I don't forget.

Calem POV

I sat on the bleachers near the battlefield and broke off a piece of my food and handed it to Meowstic, who happily accepted and began to eat. Just then Brendan came through the door. He waved and sat down next to us. "Have any plans for practice today? I shrugged, "I'm thinking just more scrimmages. I suppose that's the best way to do it since it's closest to the real thing. Or so I've heard." The door then opened and Serena walked through dressed in her red Volleyball shirt. She looked around, "Er- I think I'm lost again." She then noticed Brendan and I sitting there and looked over to me, "Oh! Hey Calem. Uh- where's the-" I pointed in the right direction and she thanked me. She was then followed by Elio and Ethan who were joking about something. Gloria ran in moments later, followed by Victor and Dawn who were talking to each other. Hilbert and Hilda came in next, then finally Lyra rushed in, apologizing because she took a wrong turn at the fountain and got lost.

Kukui then emerged from somewhere and gave us the rundown for practice before pulling me aside. He stood and pointed me to the scrimmage, "Watch this closely. I know I already chose Elio and Brendan for you, but I want you to pick the rest." I looked up at him, "I mean... Alright. I'll keep an eye on it." I pulled out a sheet of paper and a pen I keep in my pocket and began to scribble down my thoughts on what I saw. Kukui watched me intently and started talking to Lucas about the strategy for this weekend's game.

I put the pen down and read over what I wrote one last time and re checked my final roster.

I nodded and then handed it to Kukui. Kukui looked it over and then smirked, "Decisive. I knew you'd make a good captain." I scratched my head, so my expectations are pretty low. That's good. After that practice ended and we all went back, and I decided rather quickly that I would get some sleep.

May POV

Lillie rushed in and began to sift through her clothes in her dresser. I looked up from my phone and squinted to try to figure out what exactly she was doing. She noticed me and quickly said, "Sorry! Hi May." I nodded, "Hey Lillie. What're you doing?" Lillie sighed and continued to dig, "I'm going out to dinner soon." I questioned her, "Like a date?" Lillie puffed her cheeks in a flustered way, "No!" I shrugged, "Alright then. Where you going to?" She replied, "The pizza place. You want to come?" I smiled, "Really?" Lillie smiled back, "Why not, we're friends aren't we?" I nodded, "Sounds good! I'll get ready."

Elio POV

I knocked on Selene's door. Kris answered it, "Oh. Hey Elio what's up?" I heard from back in the room, "Oh he's still alive!?" Kris turned back, "As of this moment yeah." Selene came to the door next, "What do you want Elio?" I shrugged, "Lillie and I are going out for some pizza later-" Selene cocked her head, "Like a date?" I slapped my hands to my side, "No! You didn't let me-" Selene snickered, "I was kidding, you want me to come too don't you?" I sighed, "Why'd I even bother. You know everything." Selene shrugged, "Well I'll see you there then." She then shut the door as Kris also said bye.

Lillie POV

I had on a light blue hoodie and black pants as I walked next to May who was in her usual red and black outfit. We got inside and Elio was waiting for us at a table, he was sitting next to a girl I didn't recognize. I smiled, "Hey Elio!" He looked up and smiled back, "Lillie! Good to see you!" I sat across from him and I then pointed to May who had just gotten to our booth, "Elio, this is my roommate May, May this is my friend Elio." May smiled, "Nice to meet you Elio!" Elio smiled back, "You too! Next to me is my friend Selene, Lillie she moved in on Melemele 2 years after you left." I nodded, "Oh cool! Nice to meet you Selene!" Eventually the pizza was ready and we all began to eat, Elio and I talked almost the whole time, while May and Selene carried their own conversation, eventually I asked Elio, "So, you do anything really cool after I left?" Elio shrugged, "Not really. I was thinking about going to one of the colleges in Alola that's really well known for Battling, but I didn't end up getting accepted..." I tilted my head, "Why? Bad grades?" Elio shook his head, "Nah. They didn't think I was good enough." I questioned him, "How is that possible? You were the number one ranked trainer in Alola when I left... Heck people called you the honorary Champion." Selene looked over to Elio, "Wait What!? You were the best?" Elio hung his head, "I.... I was...." Selene then questioned him further, "Well what happened?" Elio continued to look at his feet, before replying quietly, "Nothing really... I suppose I just... Fell off... Got figured out or something..." I hardly believed him, but whatever it was seemed like a hard subject for him so I began to talk to him about what I did in Kanto, which he showed a lot of interest in. It was really good to talk to him again. I didn't have really any friends before coming here, but now I have Elio back, and May, and maybe even Selene! I said my goodbyes and hugged everyone before leaving.
