Chapter 21: Don't tell me i cant because I'm a woman

After the girls have a movie night Emrys goes to her room and sees bucky waiting for her there.

Bucky: hey doll

Emrys: hi handsome, you will not guess who I saw today!

Bucky: who?

Emrys: I saw Stephen and we had a beer 

Bucky: Stephen? how is he? he kinda disappeared out of nowhere 

Emrys: yeah he said he wanted to clear his but I don't really know about what?

Bucky: well is he coming back 

Emrys: eventually, he said sometime this week. 

they continued their conversation for a little while longer. Emrys told him about the job and that she'd be out on Wed, Mon and Friday mornings. he was extremely proud of her and healed her in his arms while she fell asleep.

she went to school in the morning excitedly to teach. she walked into the gym with confidence.

Emrys: hello everyone, I assume you saw me yesterday after I made quite the impression but I will give my introductions properly now. my name is Emrys Verena Odinson I am a multi martial-artist and I will be doing fitness with you guys as well as teaching you self-defense.

Peter was staring at her the whole time with love while MJ was staring at him with jealousy. even though she was jealous she still really liked Emrys.

Flash: I can't believe they let a woman be our pe teacher 

Emrys: and why is that? (heard him from afar)

Flash: because you're a woman!

Emrys: and what the HELL is wrong with that?

Flash: you're powerless compared to men!

Emrys: am I now, why wasn't I aware of that? 

Flash: maybe you've never been confronted before

Emrys: and you have never been confronted that you're an ASS 

Everyone laughs*

Flash: ok now you're insulting me? it was just a joke 

Emrys: oh I can take a joke, I just can't take disrespect, learn the difference (walks away)

Flash: oh come on Ms. Odinson you know we both agree 

Peter: flash that's enough!

Emrys: have you ever heard of the word respect? because I believe understanding it must be hard for you since you haven't got any from anyone in this room or as a matter of fact anyone in your life!

Everyone else: WOOOW

Emrys: in fact, that's the reason why you're such a disrespectful scumbag its because no one has any respect for you because you don't deserve it 

Flash: everyone respects me!

Emrys: darling there's a difference between respect and despise 

Everyone else: WOOOW

Flash: Oh my GOD! WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO ACCEPT THE FACT THAT WOMEN CANT LEAD! WOMEN CAN'T WIN!

Emrys: it looks to me here that you're the one who lost 

Flash: and why is that?

Emrys: well for starters you are not respected, you are feared and despised there's a difference between them! 

Flash: and you think you won because you have people's respect? well, let me tell you this you don't have mine!

Emrys: what makes you think I WANT your respect? because you're rich? because you do well in school? because you're an insidious snark? well, let me tell you this if you can't respect women you cant respect anybody else because it is from women you come from if it wasn't for a woman who's your mother you WOULDNT BE HERE! so disrespecting women is like disrespecting your mother or any other woman in your life. you should be ashamed of yourself for being so narrowminded and shallow-minded! now let me ask you this, do you love your mother 

Flash: YES! 

Emrys: well let me tell you one thing men who love their mothers treat women like the queens they are and worship them as if they are gold and don't see them as a possession! they have enormous respect for women! 

Flash: my god you're such a difficult woman! 

Emrys: no I'm not a difficult woman, I'm simply a strong woman who knows her worth 

Flash: you're strong? I bet you couldn't even beat me in an arm wrestle!

Emrys: listen, my strength isn't only my muscles darling it's in my words but if you insist on me kicking your ass then PLEASE be my guest!

Flash: FINE, FIGHT ME! 

Emrys: i believe one slap in the face is enough for you darling I'm afraid you can't take more than that 

Flash: AHHH (he tries to jump on her) 

Emrys: (she swerves) 

Flash: (tries to punch her)

Emrys: (she goes under and punches him in the stomach then throws him to the ground)

Flash: OK OK! ENOUGH

Emrys: do you have any other loving words you'd like to share with us?

Flash: NO MA'AM, you have my respect

Emrys: good now give me 30 push-ups. the rest of you come with me, I'm sorry you had to witness that.

till the end of the pe, class flash was speechless and didn't say another word. the rest changed their minds about her and gained a lot of respect for her.
class ended everyone packed up and left except for one girl called caroline.

Caroline: Ms. Odinson 

Emrys: yes caroline 

Caroline: I wanted to tell you something

Emrys: I'm listening 

Caroline: I have a crush on flash and after what I saw today, I thought I would change my mind about him but I didn't and I really like him. how do I make a guy like him like me? please don't judge me 

Emrys: of course I'm not going to judge you! people have different tastes. 

Caroline: thanks 

bucky comes to the school to pick her up and take her but sees her working so he stands behind the door until she finishes. 

Emrys: but one piece of advice from me to you is to get yourself a guy that calls you beautiful not hot, a guy that calls you princess, not babe, and a guy that opens the door for you and says "Ladies first" and I don't really know flash but from what is saw today he wouldn't be the guy you can settle for. and you might like a now but you will regret it in the long run, but if you think I'm wrong and you think you know him better then go for it! do what makes you happy but also not harmful to you. (says in a very calming and kind way) 

Caroline: Have you found yourself a guy like that?

Emrys: yes, I found mine just a year ago 

(he smiles while eavesdropping on their convo)

Caroline: does he call you princess?

Emrys: he calls me doll 

Caroline: I wish i could find a guy like that 

Emrys: you will, you have great potential 

Bucky: hi doll 

Emrys: bye caroline, good luck. hi handsome 

Bucky: what do you say we- (his alarm rings) OH NO 

Emrys: what!

Bucky: there's a mission, we gotta go!
