Chapter 34: What's holding you back!

At that moment Emrys was frozen. She couldn't believe the strong emotional bond that her daughter had built with her ex-boyfriend. The only thing that was holding her back from getting back together with bucky was her children not liking him, but now that the problem was solved she could do what she wanted, but she had to wait and see what asher thought about it.

Asher: Dad?

Bucky and Verena looked at him*

Asher: why are you calling him dad? we have a dad!

Verena: and where is our dad right now?

Asher: he's on a trip!

Verena: did you really believe that!

Emrys: Verena

Verena: He left us asher! are you really that dumb!

Asher: Don't say that! 

Verena: He's going on a trip for a very long time! that means forever! 

Asher: SHUT UP YOU DIPSHIT!

Emrys: ASHER!

Verena: ASHER HE'S MORE OF A DAD THAN DAD THAN DAD EVER WAS!

Asher: NO!

Verena: it's easy for you to say! you were Dad's favorite and he spent time with you all the time! he chose you over me ALL THE TIME! 
HE NEVER ONCE CAME TO ONE OF MY MATCHES AND NEVER ONCE PRAISED ME FOR THE THINGS I DID AND ALWAYS FAVORED YOU! AND NO OFFENSE BUT YOU'RE NOT HALF AS SMART AS I AM! 

Emrys: Verena...

Verena storms out of the coffee with thunder sparks in her eyes. Bucky follows her to make sure she's ok, Verena is so angry about never being the favorite of her dad's, she loved her brother but she always knew she was smarter and she did better in school. Asher was the most popular guy at school, first because of his looks because he was absolutely gorgeous, second because he was on the volleyball, karate, and swim team. Even though he was only 11, he was the most handsome guy in their grade and all the older kids liked him. Verena was 9 she was popular among guys because they liked and she rejected them and because she was smart but not a smart ass.

it starts raining*

Bucky: you ok princess?

Verena: yeah, it's something I just excepted in life

Bucky: Well, you come to me whenever things get like this 

Verena: ok... 

Bucky: (hugs her and kisses her head) now go back inside 

Emrys: (she some outside) is she ok? (says while it rains) 

Bucky: WHAT'S HOLDING YOU BACK!

Emrys: WHAT DO YOU MEAN! 

Bucky: (grabs her neck and kisses her)

Emrys: What are you doing!

Bucky: what is holding you back emrys! 

Emrys: (she stays silent) 

Bucky: We can be together now! 

Emrys: I don't wanna rush them into it!

Bucky: EMRYS VERENA CALLS ME DAD NOW!

Emrys: (she hold her hair and turns around)

Bucky: you don't have feelings for me anymore do you

Emrys: DONT YOU DARE SAY THAT!
I WASNT ABLE TO LOVE ANYONE BECAUSE OF YOU!
I MARRIED STEPHEN AND I WAS IN LOVE WITH THE TWO OF YOU!
SO DONT YOU DARE SAY I DONT LOVE YOU!

Bucky: THEN WHAT IS THE PROBLEM! 

Emrys: (kisses him and he kisses her back)
