Chapter 29: He survived but she didn't

Steve: (kisses her)

Emrys: (pulls away) STEVE! (slaps him)

Sharon: OH MY GOD! STEPHEN

Stephen: WHAT ARE YOU DOING!!!?? KISSING MY PREGNANT WIFE? (Starts beating him up)

Steve: (he starts fighting with him) 

Emrys: STOP IT! (thunder shoots out of her) 

They both stop*

Emrys: I am SICK of this! i am SICK of YOU TRYING TO SABOTAGE MY EVERY RELATIONSHIP! I AM MARRIED! AND I AM PREGNANT! DOES THAT MEAN NOTHING TO YOU!?

Steve: OF COURSE IT MEANS SOMETHING TO ME, THAT'S WHY IM GOING TO THERAPY 3 TIMES A WEEK!

Emrys: then WHY! WHY DID YOU DO IT STEVE!?

Steve: what?

Emrys: WHY DID YOU DO IT IF YOU KNEW WHAT YOU WERE GETTING YOURSELF INTO?

Steve:...

Emrys: WHY DID YOU CHEAT ON ME?! WHY DID YOU DO IT WHEN YOU KNEW YOU WERE GONNA REGRET IT THIS BADLY?

Steve: I thought you could forgive me?!

Emrys: I FORGAVE YOU A LONG TIME AGO STEVE! I TOLD YOU THAT! BUT I WILL NOT SETTLE FOR A MAN WHO HAS BROKEN ME ONCE! 

Steve: then WHY DIDNT YOU GIVE ME A CHANCE?! WE COULD'VE BEEN HAPPY 

Emrys: this is not the age of innocence steve I am not a person to get back with a man WHO BROKE ME ONCE ALREADY!

Steve: WHY!?

Emrys: BECAUSE PEOPLE MAKE MISTAKES! BECAUSE I HAVE LOST SO MUCH THAT I WAS NOT WILLING TO PUT MYSELF IN A POSITION THAT I KNEW I COULDN'T GET OUT OF...

silence spread in the room*

Emrys: Steve I..lost.. EVERYTHING! AND I COULDN'T TRUST YOU AND GIVE YOU A SECOND CHANCE JUST BECAUSE IT WOULD HURT YOUR FEELINGS! YES! I WAS BEING SELFISH AND I DID THE RIGHT THING!

Steve: WHY!?

Emrys: because I didn't trust you and if you broke me again, id really do something I'd regret 

Steve: I regret it so badly Emrys you don't understand-

Emrys: but you did it, maybe if you didn't we could've had a happy life but you did and wasted your one chance at a happy ending. now get out

Steve: Emrys-

Stephen: you heard her

Wanda: Emrys are you ok?

Emrys: I'm fine!

Stephen: why don't you sit down for a second-

Emrys: I said I'm FINE! (then passes out) 

Thor: EMRYS! 

They rush her to the hospital after she fainted. Thor, Wanda, steve, and peter went with her. 
the doctors put her in the room to check on her. they got the test results but she was still unconscious. They went to the hospital that Stephen worked at so they knew them and gave them the test results early.

Doctor: Stephen, i got the results (gives him a sign to follow him so they can talk in private)

Stephen: ok, (he looks at steve) if something bad happens i will never forgive you

Steve: (he looks at him with guilt) 

Wanda: do you really love her that much?

Steve: well it doesn't matter anymore does it?

Wanda: she did forgive you steve

Stephen and the doctor go somewhere private.

Stephen: so, tell me

Doctor: I have some good news and bad news

Stephen: tell me the bad news first

Doctors: she lost one of the babies 

Stephen: ohhh (he grabs his hair and tears come into his eyes) 

Doctors: but the good news is the other one survived

Stephen: was it the girl or the boy

Doctors: the boy survived

Stephen: ok, (takes a deep breath) thank you, ill go tell her 

He goes to her room hoping she is awake to break the news to her.

Stephen: hi darling 

Emrys: hello my love 

Stephen: (sits by her bed) i got the test results back

Emrys: how was it 

Stephen: we lost precious (precious was her name)

Emrys: oh (starts tearing up)

Stephen: but Nathaniel survived 

Emrys: (she wipes her tears) then we shall name him Asher

Stephen: why?

Emrys: because it means, happiness and luck
