12.Not Really Going Home

Once we were sure we could move, Hermione, Harry, an I ran over to Ron

"Take care of Ron. Then, go to the owlery. Send a message to Dumbledore. Ron's right...I have to go on." Harry explained to us but Hermione stopped him

"Take Violet."

"Mione, Ron was right. It's Harry that has to go-"

"No listen, this is like a maze or trials right? So the first trial was Fluffy and the door, we did that together. Then it was Me and the devils snare, Harry and the keys, Ron and chess. If I'm right then there's another trial through that door and Violet you'll probably know it better than any of us." She explained and I looked over at Harry

"Come on Vi, Hermione get Ron to Pomfrey, get a hold of Dumbledore." Harry said grabbing my hand and we ran through the door. Hermione was right we walked over to a table with two different vials of unmarked potions

"There's a note." Harry whispered grabbing the paper and handing it to me

"Before you there are two potions, you must choose wisely for one will cause confusion and the other shall cause despair." I read before looking down at both of the potions

"What do we do Violet?" Harry asked worried

"Let me think...." I mumbled looking at both of the green potions one slightly darker than the other

"Ok one of them has to be the drink of despair also known as the emerald potion which will cause pain fear and sadness until you are given the antidote but the other one might be....maybe a Befuddlement Draught because those can be green too. But they only last a moment, 30 to 60 seconds at the the most if you only take a little-"

"Violet which one do we take?" He asked cutting of my rant and I sighed

"Take this one, but only a few drops." I nodded handing him the lighter green potion. He immediately did exactly as he was told and I studied the immediate look of confusion on his face and let out a breath of relief. As the effects slowly faded he gave me a sad look

"I'm gonna be ok Harry. After I drink this it will be your job to go stop Snape understand?" I asked

"But-"

"No Harry, it's you who has to go on. Because you already drank one."I mumbled and he nodded sadly as I raised the vial to my lips and poured its contents into my mouth.

"Violet...are you okay?" He asked after a moment as the potion hadn't exactly kicked in yet, then I suddenly felt a burning pain all over my body and I dropped to the ground

"Go!" I called out to him and he nodded running. I clutched my stomach screaming in pain when my vision began to blur as the hallucinations began. I could hear various voices in my head that deep down I knew was a side effect

'What a freak!' Harry laughed

"Stop it" I pleaded

'Can't believe they let you come to school here?!' Lee joked as he and the twins laughed running away

'Shuri! Get away from her! She's dangerous! Born of the devil just like the orphanage said!' T'Challa said in disgust as he pulled her away from me

"No, no, Challa come back please come back!" I cried as it felt like my whole body was on fire

'I'm sorry my dear but I'm afraid we can no longer have you in this school.' Dumbledore sighed as McGonagal appeared

"Minnie...Minnie please make it stop! I can't, I can't!-"

'Stay away from Harry, your to dangerous, you'll only hurt him.' Was all she said before leaving
