84. What the hell is a time heist

The kids where with Fluer and Bill visiting the Delacour family for the next three weeks which worked out well for me because I got to catch up on my work.

I was currently cleaning the clutter in my office when a picture frame fell off my desk.

"Oh shoot." I mumbled when I heard the glass crack, I gently picked up the picture and the frame broke. I looked at the picture and it was a picture of the group from the quidditch World Cup. Suddenly the dam I had built up over the last five years broke and I started to cry.

"Violet?!" Loki called rushing into the room and I looked up at him.

"It broke." I sobbed holding up the broke frame and he nodded sadly.

"I can fix it later, what's really going on?" He asked sitting on the ground next to me.

"I lost everyone. There gone, they were supposed to be here. My kids never got to meet their fathers. I-my..." I rushed out before falling into Loki's arms and he gently rocked us side to side.

"It's alright, we'll think of something. It's alright." He repeated softly over and over.

We sat there for a few hours as Loki held me while I cried. After awhile I'd stopped crying and Loki picked up a random book and started reading it to me while we listened to the rain hit the window. I didn't know if the rain was because of me or not but I couldn't bring myself to care.

"Violet?" Loki whispered

"Hmm?"

"You are one of the strongest beings I've ever encountered. You were meant for great things, and I know that things seem a bit grim now but, the sun will shine again." He said softly and I lifted my head off his shoulder.

"You think so?"

"I know so, in my time here I have watched you grow despite every possible sign not too. I don't know many who would do what you're doing. For me and for the children." He nodded and I smiled softly, wiping my tears away

"Thank you for staying with me Loki. I truly don't know what I'd do without you." I said with a small laugh

"Mama wake up." I heard a voice whisper and I opened my eyes slightly to see Teddy's face directly in front of mine and I jerked my head back in fear.
