I was now searching for Draco on the train since he said he had an empty compartment for us to talk.

"There you are!" I smiled opening the door to the compartment and closing it behind me pulling the blinds down. As Draco hugged me laughing

"I can't believe you hit my father." He smiled

"He kind of deserved it, if you ask me."

"With our a doubt, I've just never seen anyone disrespect him before. Kind of made him less terrifying." He explained as I nodded

"So...what did you want to talk about?" I asked sitting across from him

"Well, it's about my betrothal. My mother said that if I can find someone of high standing by the end of the year, then I don't have to get engaged to Pansy." He explained and I nodded

"Have anyone in mind?" I asked

"Well we both know that I could never ask Harry, and the only other female purebloods in our year probably wouldn't agree to a fake marriage." He sighed

"What about one of the Greengrass sisters? They're nice right?" I asked and he shook his head

"Astoria is betrothed to Blaise, they're doing the same thing as what I want to do and Daphne is betrothed to Terence Higgs, they've been dating for a year so it's not like she'd except my offer either." He said and there was a moment of silence before I had an idea

"I could do it." I offered

"What do you mean you could do it?" He asked confused

"We could get engaged, you know I wouldn't hold you to it after we're of age and I'd like to think I have a pretty high standing." I shrugged

"Violet you're a muggle born...and you hit my father, he'd never agree."

"Actually I'm not, my mother Hope was a which according to Minnie and I think my father was as well so I'm at least a half blood. Also I happen to come from a very wealthy adoptive family. So I could totally do it." I shrugged

"Wait, who was your mother?" He asked confused and I shrugged

"I think her name was Hope, and my family's vault has stuff that says O'Connor and-"

"Wait! Hope O'Connor is your mother?!" He asked shocked and I nodded confused

"Is that important?! Violet you are the last of the O'Connor line! Yes that's important! Not only are you a Pureblood but your families status was right next to mine." He exclaimed happily pulling out his phone search O'Connor in the online Wizards directory

"Here is it, The O'Connor's was a famous historically Pureblood family of Alchemists and Potioneers. The O'Connor family is famous known for being the decedents of Antioch Peverell. They are survived by Hope O'Connor a talented Alchemist who went into hiding during you-know-who's original call to power." He read before looking up at me
