33. Time Turner

I stood outside the door as I listened to what was going on inside

"If you want to kill Harry, you'll...you'll... have to kill us, too!" Ron yelled and I listened for a response so I could figure out who was in the room

"No! Only one will die tonight!" An unfamiliar voice yelled

"I'm afraid I have to disagree." I said kicking the door open assessing the situation as everyone froze

"Violet! It's him! It's Sirius Black!" Hermione yelled pointing at the man

"I gathered that, thanks Mione. Ron...what happened to your leg?" I asked worried when I noticed the leg of his pants had some tears and it looked like he was bleeding a bit

"It was him." Ron mumbled pointed over my shoulder and I turned to look at Sirius. Before I could say anything else Remus walking into the room

"Professor Lupin!" Harry, Hermione, and Ron yelled seeming relieved but I wasn't to sure yet. I knew they were friends in their school days if not something more. And I also knew that Remus didn't really think Sirius was guilty.

"Looking a bit ragged, aren't we,                 Sirius? Finally the skin reflects the madness within."

"You'd know all about the madness within, wouldn't you, Remus?" Sirius joked as two stared at each other for a moment before they hugged and I scoffed

"No! I trusted you! I covered up for you. And all this time you've been his friend!" Hermione yelled stepping forward but I stopped her pushing her so she was behind me again

"He's a werewolf! That's why he's been missing classes!" She continued and I nodded

"I know he is."

"How long have you known?" Remus asked looking at Hermione since he already knew that I knew

"Since Professor Snape set the essay." She answered

"You're the brightest witch of your age I've ever met, Hermione." Remus complemented

"Yes, you glow like the sun.  And you howl at the moon. Enough talk! He dies. Now. If you won't do it with me, Remus, I'll do it alone." Sirius demanded and I glared at him

"Take one more step and you'll be dead before you hit the ground." I threatened as I allowed strands of electricity to covid my hands

"Wait, Sirius may-"

"I did my waiting! Twelve years of it!  In Azkaban! Trust me, you wouldn't have lasted a week!" Sirius yelled turning to Remus who was attempted to holding him back

"All right then. As you wish..." Remus sighed with a nod

"No!" Harry yelled raising his wand but Remus quickly disarmed him.

"You betrayed my parents! You sold them to Voldemort!" Harry yelled angrily and he glared at Sirius with a murderous rage in his eyes

"It's a lie! I never would've betrayed James and Lily!" Sirius defended as he took a step forward only to immediately step back when I raised my hand in his direction
