71. Promises

Third Person POV
(Because it's easier to explain what everyone is doing)

It first to go into the sky was Hagrid and Harry , then Mad-Eye and Mundungus, Kingsley and Hermione, Remus and George, Tonks and Ron, Bill and Fluer, Arthur and Fred, and lastly Sirius and Violet. The group formed a triangle shape behind Hagrid

As Privet Drive got smaller and smaller it seemed as though they were going to pull it off without flaw, when suddenly several death eaters came into view and everyone broke from formation like Mad-eye instructed.

It was now everyone's job to pretend they were Harry, or had Harry with them while Hagrid got Harry away.

(Everything bellow is happening simultaneously until they all get to the burrow)

The first to fall was Mad-eye when Mundungus disapparated at the first sign of danger as the deather assumed the real Harry would be with the orders strongest protector. A curse hit Moody off his broom where he then fell to his death.

⚡️💜⚡️

The next target became Kingsley and Hermione, seeing that they were being pursued by five deatheaters Kingsley swiftly picked up speed and Hermione shot a spell injuring on of the deatheaters and Kingsley injured two others before they dropped down to their port key location

⚡️💜⚡️

The next to be pursued was Harry and Hagrid when Hedwig took a stray killing curse in Harry's place giving the two away. The two are the pursued by four death eaters, one knocked unconscious by a spell shot from Violet's wand as she passed with Sirius, another shot out of the sky by Ron. Then Harry, upon recognizing one of the deatheaters as Stan Shunpike used a disarming charm further giving him away as Voldemort immediately goes after him destroying his wand in the process before Hagrid drops them from the sky towards the Tonks residence.

The next to be pursued was George and Remus. Among the deatheaters was Snape who attempted to help by casting Sectumsempra at the deatheater who was going to use the killing curse on Remus only to miss and hit George. Remus now had to land as soon as possible to keep George steady on the broom as he was loosing a lot of blood.

⚡️💜⚡️

Ron and Tonks who where almost to their port key where being chased by the Lestranges among others when Ron successfully stuns a deatheater and Tonks gravely injured Rodolphus Lestrange.

⚡️💜⚡️

Fluer and Bill were being chased by half a dozen deatheaters but Bill managed to expertly fly and get them off their trace, they made it to their safe house completely unharmed but still missed their port key and had to fly to the burrow making them among the last to arrive

⚡️💜⚡️

Arthur and Fred were flying in close proximity to Sirius and Violet when a nasty hex was thrown to Arthur only to collide with Violet's body knocking her out of the sky. Her unconscious body plummeted to the ground before any of them had time to react. But they couldn't stop for her, it wasn't in the plan.
