70. We're Identical

"You're home!" Sirius gasped when he saw Draco standing at the bottom of the steps as members of the order trickled into the house.

"I'm wh-" before Draco could finish he was wrapped in Sirius' arms

"I'm so happy to see you." Sirius smiled softly and Draco looked up at him confused

"You are?" He asked in almost a whisper before Sirius could respond Remus rushed forward hugging Draco as well

"You're home." He smiled and Draco looked over to where I stood leaning against the wall with wide panicked eyes

"I- what is going on?" He said in a panicked whisper

"Are you alright?" Sirius asked softly as he and Remus both took several steps back and Draco rushed to hide behind me

"I think the parental affection thing is still new." I mumbled

"I was sort of expecting everyone to be mad." Draco sighed

"Is that Draco?!" I heard Lee yell

"Violet explained everything to everyone, besides we were never mad at you. You'll have a home here for as long as you want one." Remus smiled grabbing Lee's shoulder to stop him from rushing to hug Draco in efforts to keep him from becoming more uncomfortable.

A few days later

We were sitting in a order meeting talking about how to move forward after Dumbledore's death.

"Tell me again, why can't Harry just come here now?" I asked

"Because of the protection spell Lily put on her sister's house. He's safer there." Kingsley explained

"Right, right. But don't you have to be dead for the Sacrificial protection spell to work?" I asked confused and everyone who didn't already know that Lily and James had been upstairs all this time looked at me like I was insane

"Hit your head one to many times, have you?" Mundungus asked and I rolled my eyes

"Lily and James are alive?" Kingsley asked

"That's impossible." Mundungus said as if the thought was laughable

"Uh...hi?" James said in the doorway where he stood with Lily and Draco

"Perhaps this is that part where I explain all they ways Dumbledore lied to everyone in this room for give or take 30 years." I muttered

"Why is this just surfacing now?!" Mad-eye asked skeptically

"Because he had this thing about avoiding accountability. Trust me, we had several conversations about this before his death. I'll even take truth serum if you want. But I vote we pick Harry up sooner rather than later." I explained

After the rest of the order and a few members of the advanced guard who weren't watching Number Four Privet Drive, James, Lily, Minnie, Sirius, and I explained everything we knew.

"Why would Dumbledore let everyone suffer? What you're saying can't possibly be true." Heista Jones argued

"Oh so, I guess you have a better explanation for how Sirius ended up in Azkaban for the death of Peter Pettigrew who is very much alive, or how the Potter's who were last seen by Dumbledore himself are sitting here alive, or how about the fact that he continuously managed to not be in the castle when Harry, Ron, Hermione, and I were saving everyone?" I asked with a raised eyebrow

"How do we even know any of what you're telling us is true?" Mundungus asked

"Common sense works wonders." Ron said sarcastically, rolling his eyes
