"And that's a bad thing?" Lily asked confused

"Of course it's a bad thing, especially since you aren't actually dead and you both have no memory of that night." I sighed pinching the bridge of my nose

"Not that I don't know why that's a bad thing, but maybe Remus doesn't know so you should maybe say the reason out loud." Sirius mumbled and we all looked at him with a 'really?' Look as he shrugged.

"The man is clearly playing us like a chess...board..." I said as my voice trailed off at the memory of the multiple near death experiences I've had in the last four years. I guess it was always too convenient that he'd managed to disappear right when things had gone to shit.

"What is it? I don't like that look? Oh no, her hair's red. Moony that's her angry color." Sirius explained taking several steps back.

"I have to make a phone call." I mumbled walking back to the kitchen

"Violet? Remus?" Minnie's voice rang out as we were all sitting in the kitchen

"In here Minnie!" Sirius called out, after a few minutes she entered the kitchen and stopped in her tracked when her eyes landed on Lily

"It can't be." She gasped with wide tear filled eyes

"Good afternoon Professor." Lily said with a wave

After filling Minnie in on everything she had a mixture of shock, hurt, an anger painted on her face

"What do we do?" I asked and she sighed

"Leave it to me dear. I think you've done enough." She said kindly and I nodded

"Can we see him? Harry?" Lily asked

"Violet? You know better than me." Minnie smiled softly and I nodded

"I think they should, but I haven't exactly explained any of this to him. Or anyone. In fact other than you guys Nick Fury is the only one that knows about them being alive." I explained, glancing at Minnie. I wanted nothing more than to bring Harry here and reunite him with his parents. I knew the longer I kept this from him, the angrier he'd be and I have to admit. That was a bit terrifying to think about, but I just don't know how to tell him. How do you tell your best friend that his parents are alive after fourteen years of believing they were dead?

"So maybe we should wait then..." James sighed sadly, holding Lily's hand as Minnie and Remus nodded in agreement.

It was nearing the end of May and I've been in near constant contact with Lily, James, Remus, and Sirius.

As it would seem Strucker wasn't very good at the whole mind wiping thing since their memories had come back within weeks.

I was currently sitting in my dorm room writing an essay for Herbology when Hermione ran in the room

"Violet have you heard?" She asked and I looked up from my laptop

"Probably not, I've been in here all day. What's the matter?" I asked closing my laptop to give her my full attention

"Barty Crouch was found dead!"

"What?" I gasped

"We were walking with Hagrid when we saw him-"

"Wait you guys found him?!" Cut her off worried and she nodded

I was walking around the castle looking for Harry when I heard Snape talking

"Veritaserum. Three drops of this and you-know-who himself will spill his darkest secrets. The use of this on a student is regrettably forbidden, however should you ever steal from my personal stores again, my hand might just slip over your morning pumpkin juice." He spoke in a hushed tone
