Chapter ONE

She is thirty years old to his twenty six.

Mula pagkabata ay may kakaiba nang naramdaman si Cael para sa kababatang si Zoe.

He didn't mind that she's older. All he knows is she's the most beautiful girl.

Mas madalas na nakatitig lang siya sa maamong mukha nito habang nagbabasa sa paborito nitong DC comics para libangin siya.

At a very young age, he knew that she is special.

Meet Cael, or Carl Elynno Kang.

He is the son of multi millionaire Duarte Kang who owns the Expoland*, located in Osaka Japan.

He is the only son who will inherit their vast fortune. But he felt he was so poor. His dad is always away on business and never really stayed long enough to make his presence felt. Cael felt his father blamed him for his mom's death.

She died while giving birth to him. A big painting was showcased in their large living room as a testament of his father's devotion to his dead wife.

Cael was enrolled in the best schools. He also got the highest grade. He always strive to be the best for his dad but it seems he really doesnt care. He just absentmindedly nod when Cael told him that he is topnotcher at school.

He never rebelled though, but stayed to be the good son. It seems he got his goodness from his mom Elyn. It is her wish to name him after her and when Cael was baptised, his dad honored his mother's request.

One might say this is the reason why he loved Zoe so much. He was looking for a mother figure and Zoe is too caring and sweet.

One thing's for sure though, he never looked at her as anything other than as a woman. The only woman who captured his heart and soul. The only one that graced his fantasies.

The Kangs were known in the business world as the tigers. They started small catering to the middle class with their hotel cum leisure park. They were also part owners before of Expoland, a well known theme park in Japan. The second largest before Disneyland claimed Tokyo. The real owner is a wealthy businessman named Chris Ellis. No one really saw the owner because he values his privacy so much. It is only known that he is Duarte's best friend.

Chrys Ellis is the pseudoname of Korean HwaJung  Lee. He lived in Japan after he separated from his wife.

Deinarra Lee doesnt care much for her husband and only wanted his money so she can live in luxury. She lived as a queen in their palatial house in Seoul, South Korea.

When he died due to a heart attack, Denairra sold their share on Expoland citing she didnt know how to run the business side of it. Then, she left with all the money.

Its a good thing that Mr. Ellis set up a portion of his money for their educational needs. The two were inseparable. But both have different temperament. Zoe is assertive and strongwilled while Sherri is a bit shy and sickly.

Zoe was ten when she met Cael. The preteen was awkward back then. Madalas kasi siyang tuksuhin na "buckteeth" dahil sa brace niya. Her only source of happiness is the small chinky eyed boy that follows her wherever she goes.

Hindi pala salita si Cael. Basta nakatingin lang ito kay Zoe. Madalas ito sa bahay nila dahil busy si Duarte sa negosyo. Tatlong taon na puro sila lang ang magkasama, hanggang tumuntong si Sherri sa edad na lima.

Zoe loved Sherri as if  she was her own. Shes that protective of her.  Nang mag umpisang mag away ang mga magulang nila, madalas na iniiwan sila ng ina.
