Burned

Listen to the song in the media while reading this. :D

I finally heard footsteps coming towards the kitchen as I placed a heavy pan in the oven. I wiped my forehead with the back of my hand and turned around and stopped in my tracks. Louis was smiling as he stood there in just a towel around his waist as he used another to dry his hair.

"What are you doing?" I asked, suddenly conscious of the fact that I was probably covered in flour and smelled of meat juices.

"I just had a shower, I needed one." He said with a suggestive smirk. My heart nearly jumped out of my throat and ran towards the nearest to window to just be done with life. But I just gave him a head shake and chuckled and turned to clean up.

"I need a shower too, I'm filthy." I mentally slap myself for the innuendo I just made. I turn to see him sit down in his towel and look at me. When he sees me he smiles at me, and again before I can help it, I smile back.

"I think I could use another shower." He whispers. My heart screaming to be set free from this horrible game.

"We do have two hours till the food is done." I say back, my rational side meanwhile, screaming and hitting everything it can find. I gently lock it inside a tiny corner. If this has to end, which it will. I want to be burned into my memory. No matter how much I will regret this. I just clean up the last bit and walk around the counter, walking towards his room, as I turn around once to let him know he can follow. He obediently gets up and catches up to me.

"Have you ever truly been reduced to an animalistic instinct?" I turn and ask him. He looks at me confused, then his eyes grow a little wide as he realises what I just said. The game was off now. I had no desire to control myself. He shakes his head slowly at me as I smile. "Let me show you what's it like to give yourself up to someone." I said as I intertwine our hands together and led him to his room. If he was going to be burned into my mind, I would try my best to be burned into his.
