A ruckus interrupted the silence in the hotel floor corridor. A muffled scream followed by a loud thud was heard. Harry stopped and then grinned in realisation. He was tired, but this would be fun. He stalked to the wall beside the door and stood their casually leaning on it. Soon enough a familiar voice was heard with a consoling tone, it started getting clearer till there was a sound of the door clicking open. A furious blonde with an unzipped dress and smudged make up walked out. She turned to look at the curly-haired boy and then with one last look at the man who had caused her the embarrassment imminent on her face, she turned and left with a string of profanities leaving her lips.
"What is this the fourth night in a row? Fifth?" Harry said with the grin still plastered on his face.
"Fuck off Harry." Louis said with annoyance but his eyes danced with an amusement that soon enough crept onto his lips. Both of them laughed. Louis stood at the door, his hands in is pockets, hair a mess, shirtless.
"Man, Lou if you can't help it just don't speak during sex will ya? That or don't have sex all together, but seeing the abrupt erections you are flaunting everywhere these days I'll say stick with the first option. Louis just chuckled and gestured Harry to come in as he walked into his room. Harry followed.
"Did you add any visual words this time?" Harry asked as he picked up an apple from the bowl of fruit on the table and took a bite. The bed was still untouched.
"Nah just her name." Louis said in a clipped tone and Harry raised his eyebrows. Louis chuckled in defeat. "Three times." He said with a sigh.
"That's my lad." Harry said with a grin, Louis chuckled a bit more. Suddenly Louis' face became serious and Harry's grin turned to an expression of calculated moves. With a giant pause and a lot of thought Harry finally asked a question he'd been meaning to ask ever since he saw a change in his friend's mannerisms, and then found out the reason for it.
"Do you plan on doing anything about this?" Harry asked with a casual tone he was trying to keep. Louis gave a long sigh and jumped into his bed, he started to take his shoes off.
"I don't know what I can do about it curly. She's the one who gave it a full stop, ended the chapter." Louis said while pulling off his shoe with a lot more force than required.
"Then why don't you write another one?" Harry said as he took another bite.
"It's not that simple, she seemed, she was. I don't know she was something else. She's either got no feelings or is extremely good at hiding them. I don't even know how she feels about me."
"Well everyone has feelings Lou, and I mean if she's that good at hiding her emotions than boy have you found your match." Harry said with a laugh.
"Shut up Harold." Louis said as he was staring down and smiled to himself.
"Maybe she just needs time to open up.." Harry started
"Of course she does." Louis said despite himself, with annoyance. His eyes went a little wide at his slip of emotion as he quickly composed himself
"..So did you." Harry finished with a smirk.
"Harry I'm tired can I just go to sleep now? We've got a flight in less than 3 hours and I've always been a light sleeper in air." Louis said with a deliberate yawn. Harry chuckled again.
"Maybe she's in denial like you are. Good night Lou." Harry said as he threw the apple core into the waste basket and walked away. Louis heard the door click shut as he thought over what Harry had just said. He got out of his bed with a huff and took his jeans off. Sliding into his covers as he closed his eyes and pictured dark brown eyes and long red hair.
