When we walked back downstairs, I heard murmurs. We walked into the kitchen to see everyone working on something together. When they saw us, Louis' mum smiled at us then looked down at our hand, which I didn't realise were still held together. I tried to pull away, feeling a little embarrassed, Louis just held on tight. When I turned to look at him he was smiling at his mum but his jaw was tight. I turned to his mother with a sheepish smile, she just smiled genuinely and turned back to whatever she was doing.

"Alright children, how about we take this into the yard." His mom finally said picking up a plate of food. Confused, I just followed my hand, and the person holding it.

As left the kitchen Louis pulled me back and against the counter, turning me into an exquisite sandwich between it and him. I smiled wickedly.

"Calm down Soldier. You're injured." I said still smiling. He leaned in, his lips barely brushing against my cheeks.

"And you're absolutely gorgeous, not to mention irresistible, and now that we're done stating the obvious." He laughed lightly, tickling my face with the breath that left his lungs. "I just wanted to let you know." He said pulling back, knitting his eyebrows like he was calculating his next move. I gave him a questioning look.

"Oh uh I'm so sorry." A voice erupted, causing us to turn and look at Louis' sister standing awkwardly at the door, I wanted to smile at her, but somehow the strange look in Louis' eyes left me at a lack of the capacity to hold up and appearance.

"What is it?" Louis asked softly, but I heard his light sigh of frustration before it.

"Mom's asking, well, uh, we're ready." She said and left quickly.

"Stop intimidating her." I said, causing Louis to turn his face to me, his face softened like he was about to disagree but I stopped him. "Louis, she will feel bad if you keep acting irritated at her, and that to over a stranger. She's your sister, be nice." Louis sighed then broke into a smile.

"Well she keeps interrupting." He says with a sigh of surrender this time.

"Interrupting what?" I asked slowly.

"Doesn't matter." He said after a slight pause. "Thank you for pointing out that I'm being a dick." He said with his hand behind his neck and a sheepish look.

"You can always count on me to do that Pop star." I said trying to hide my smile. He pouted like he didn't like the nick name. "Do you prefer Diva?" I said with a grin. He laughed, then pulled me off the counter and turned me around, covering my eyes with his hand.

"Alright now come on, like she pointed out, they're ready." Louis whispered in my ears, sending shivers up my spine, the lack of sight somehow making the impact his voice has on me much more intense.

"Ready for what?" I said, as he gently led my way.

"This." He said letting the hand from my eyes fall as I stared in disbelief and awe at the scene in front of me.
