Everybody looked towards Jack Silvagni upon hearing his exclamation. He was looking straight at Leni with a confused but seemingly happy look on his face which caused everybody to look between them.
The girls and coach's looking knowingly as they knew the connection and the boys looking between them confusedly having no clue what was happening.
"What the fuck" repeated Jack no longer in shock just incredibly confused
"Hey Jacko" said Leni with a nervous laugh indicating to the boys that they knew each other
"I'm surely not the only one whos confused right?" asked Caleb Marchbank lightening the atmosphere, many of the boys expressed different forms of agreement.
"She's my cousin, you know the one I moved in with" Jack clarified to the boys eliciting a few ahs and oh's.
"I'm still confused though Len" stated Jack
"Okay why dont you two go and have a chat privately" suggested Bolton. They both nodded and walked away together. Once they reached the edge of the oval Leni started talking.
"I got offered a spot a couple days ago and I accepted it, yesterday I was at our first training" she said in a strong tone.
"I'm not mad or anything I'm just a bit confused and I wish you told me" He said
"Well I wasn't allowed to tell anyone until after this session, but hey now we get to play footy together, kind of" She said looking on the bright side
"It's kind of cool actually because now we can train together and be the Carlton cousins also now you can drive me when I can't be bothered" said Jack nudging Len with a laugh
"Nah I'll let you suffer" she said chuckling at the look she gave him.
She quickly wrapped him up in a hug Jack hugged back immediately, "You know it's really annoying that I'm 2 years older than you but you still tower over me" said Leni fake glaring at him, he laughed before they both wandered back over smiling.

Patrick was in the middle of kicking footy with Marc Murphy when he and the rest of the team saw the women's team walk out onto the oval laughing and chatting with each other.
The team all stopped to look at them walking onto the oval, Bolton started jogging over to Keeping who was their coach. They talked for a little bit before calling over all of the men.
When the boys reached them they spread out so that everybody could be seen, the girls did the same.
The moment Pat could see everybody one girl stood out to him.
She had blue eyes, light brown kind of blondish hair that went a bit past her shoulders, defined cheekbones and a sharp jawline.
He didn't know why but he stood out to her he hadn't glanced at the rest of their team yet as he was just focused on her. Jack Silvagni saying "What the fuck" was what brought him out of his trance.
He saw Jack looking at the girl who had captured his attention and she was looking back with a nervous smile.
Pat was really hoping that there was no romantic connection between the 2 he didn't know why but he just hoped there wasn't.
Jack repeated himself before the girl responded saying hi to him it was silent for about a second before Caleb asked if anyone else was confused which resulted in Jack clarifying that it was his cousin he had recently moved in with, the boys knew of her but nothing about her.
Bolton let them go have a chat to smooth out the situation in the meantime the girls starting talking to each other as did the boys.
Pat stood with the boys but wasn't part of the conversation he didn't even know what it was about all he was thinking about was the girl he had now learnt was his team mates cousin.
He was quite confused as to why she was on his mind even though he had no real idea who she was apart from the recent information he had learnt, he already wanted to talk to he but it's not like he could just go up to her so he settled for observing at her from a distance, not trying to be stalkerish.

When everybody had gotten back together the coaches decided it was best for everybody to introduce themselves the boys went first simply going down the line and saying their names and their position.
As they were going through Leni noticed on of the guys who she had learnt was Patty Cripps or Crippa as Jack referred to him when complaining or gossiping about his team and from his introduction, was looking at her so she looked him in the eye and sent him a wink, he quickly averted her gaze making her chuckle under her breath slightly.
The girls were now introducing themselves it got to the first person of her group of friends
"Hi I'm Brianna Davey but call me Bri or Davey or something along those lines, I'm midfield or defense it varies" said Bri to everyone
"I'm Sarah Hosking, call me Sare or something I play midfield" Sarah stated
"Hi I'm Jess Hosking, Sarah and I are twins I also play midfield" next up was Tilly
"Hi I'm Tilly Lucas-Rodd, call me Tilly or Tills I play midfield as well" she said
"Hi I'm Sarah Last just call me Sarah or Last, I also play midfield" she told everyone
"Hi I'm Laura Attard, I am a defender finally breaking this chain of midfielders" she said getting a few laughs
"Hello I'm Lauren Arnell sometimes I get called Nellie so I'll just go with that" she told everybody. Next was Alison
"Hi I'm Alison Downie call me Ali I'm a ruck" she said
"Hi I'm Shae Audley, I play midfield." Last was Bella
"Hi I'm Bella, I'm a forward" she said kind of awkwardly with a little wave
Once the rest of the women's team had done their introductions which seemed to take forever and was quite repetitive it was Leni's turn
"Hi my name is Eleanora Torelle, you can call me Leni or just Eleanora or something like that I play midfield or defense I don't mind." Finally the intro's were over which mean it was time to train.
Although some of the players in the women's team were in their late 30's and some were as young as 18 they all got along well and were good friends for only knowing each other for 2 days.
Leni was glad they all got along and was excited to call Cass and tell her shes on the team as well as being very excited to tell her Mum, Aunt and Uncle, Tom, Ben and her grandparents that she was now a Carlton player.
She was most excited to see her Nonno and Uncle's reactions seeing as they both played for Carlton.
She didn't know why but as they were starting to talk to each other she only had one guy she wanted to talk to and it confused her, why was a certain captain staying on her mind, why couldn't she stop thinking about him.
Let the training begin.

A/N 1216 words. I'm not getting many reads so thank you to the people that are reading this because i want to continue it but if no one reads it ill probably put it on hold for a little bit. Also i don't think my maths teacher realises that we don't want to do maths 24/7 and just keeps piling us with work. also if this needs edits please tell me because im way to lazy to check
