Chapter 32

11:30am Wednesday February 22nd 2017

Leni had woken up about 15 minutes ago and was lying in her bed scrolling through Instagram, she knew she had to be at Pat's in about an hour and it took around 15 minutes but she wasn't prepared to get up.

She wasn't really good at getting up and immediately getting ready in the morning she would normally opt to lie in bed for as long as possible and suffer the consequences later, the most common consequence was falling back asleep and then being late for things.

At 11:40 she was finally able to get out of bed, she knew that Jack had the early morning training like Pat which was probably over by now and seeing as she hadn't heard him arrive home he had most likely gone to Caleb's, Charlie's or Zac's.

Having had a shower the night before she didn't need too when she woke up which was lucky or else she would be really late, Leni quickly put on some comfy clothes not feeling the need to dress up before walking to the kitchen to make a coffee.

Leni was out of the house at about 11:50 with her bag, phone, coffee and keys in her hands, she walked to the car quickly before buckling in and beginning the drive to Patrick's house.

She was going to be a couple minutes late but that wasn't too bad it was much better than being an hour late which she had most definitely done before.

After driving for around 15 minutes she arrived at Patrick's house seeing only his car luckily otherwise she would've had to drive back home and would've wasted time she could have spent asleep.

It was 12:07 she wasn't too late which was a good thing, stepping out of the car she walked up to the front door pausing for a moment before ringing the doorbell.

Pat was stressing, she wasn't there yet and it was already 12:05, he was scared she had forgotten or had decided she just didn't want to come over anymore. Pat was still quite new to the whole dating thing and didn't want it to go to shit within a week, which was completely understandable. He didn't really know what they were going to do when she arrived and was planning to just suggest watching a movie or something not really knowing what else there was to do around the house.

One minute later at 12:06 he was siting on the couch starting to stress and re thinking the majority of his life choices, she was 6 minutes late but maybe that was just normal for her he started to think trying to reassure himself and starting to feel a bit like an idiot.

At 12:07 he heard the doorbell ring.

Leni stood in front of the door for about 5 seconds waiting for Patrick to open the door, she heard quick footsteps rush towards the door before it swung open revealing Pat with a small smile on his face.

"Hey Nora" He smiled quickly kissing her cheek before inviting her in

"Hey Crippa" She laughed with a slight blush tinting her cheeks as she walked through to the lounge room

Pat sat down on the couch gesturing for her too sit with a smile, to which she accepted gratefully putting her stuff down on the coffee table in front of them before sitting down.

"How was training?" Questioned Leni after sitting down for a moment

"It was pretty good, my muscles are dying now, we did a lot in the weights room today" He groaned

"Ooh that sucks, I like the weights room but hate the soreness after" She commented

"Yeah it's not bad if you aren't sore afterwards" He laughed a bit
