4:30pm Monday February 27th 2017
Jack Silvagni had gone to his parents house for a couple hours to kill sometime, he knew Leni had training and would then probably go home and chill meaning he didn't have any reason to be at the apartment so he decided to see his family.
He quite enjoyed seeing his brothers despite them being annoying like all little brothers he loved them and did miss living with them sometimes but the privacy and freedom of living with Leni was pretty good in his mind.
He was going to be back the next day as there was a family dinner with everyone tomorrow. He planned to see if his brothers wanted to come and stay at his and Leni's apartment and chill there for a little while and then he would drop them back later.
"Do you two wanna come to the apartment and chill for a bit? I can drop you guys back home later" Jack suggested sitting in the couch watching TV with Ben and Tom
"Yeah sure" Both responded
"Alright I'll go tell mum then we can go" Jack told them before getting up and walking to his mum
"Ma can Ben and Tom come home with me and stay for a bit? I'll drop them back home later" He asked with a look of hope as he hung on the doorframe of his parents room
"Yes but make sure they're home before 10 and eat a proper dinner. Oh and tell Leni to make sure Cassie comes to family dinner tomorrow night. Okay?" Jo stated
"Alright, we're gonna go then, bye" Jack said beginning to walk away
"Bye" She shouted
Jack walked back to where his brothers were sitting on the couch.
"Alright let's go" Jack announced swinging his keys around his finger
"Okay" Tom responded as he and Ben got off the couch and walked to Jack's car and hopped in.

The brothers arrived at the apartment complex, they hadn't told Leni that all 3 of them were coming over and were going to surprise her assuming that she was home.
The 3 of them made sure to be quite as they got to the door of the apartment, Jack began to open the unlocked door as quietly as possible and the 3 walked through before stopping in their tracks immediately and pausing for a few seconds.
"What the fuck"

Leni and Pat were locked in a kiss as Jack, Ben and Tom walked in unbeknownst to them, the couple were completely unaware of their presence until someone spoke up
"What the fuck" Shouted Jack upon seeing his cousin making out with someone, he couldn't see out who it was as he just saw the persons back
Leni and Patrick broke apart immediately and Leni saw her cousins standing frozen like statues looking at her in shock. Pat was yet to turn around and see the situation but as he did he saw what had happened.
"Eleanora, what the fuck is going on?" Jack fumed now taking notice of who the person his cousin was kissing and realising who it was
"Jack" Leni said warily as she took notice of how mad he looked
"Patrick Cripps" Jack stated with anger dripping on his words. His face was a mix of anger, annoyance and betrayal, Ben and Tom were yet to say anything and were standing either side of their brother their eyes flickering between Jack, Leni and Patrick.
"As much as I want to say it's not what it looks like it probably is" Leni said tensely
"So you were just making out with my friend and captain" Jack clarified his face red
"Yes" Leni stated deciding it was best to just be honest
"I need a minute" Jack muttered before stomping away angrily leaving his brothers, cousin and captain in the kitchen
"I think you should escape while you still can" Leni whispered in Pat's ear as Jack walked away
"Yeah that's probably best" Pat agreed, Patrick awkwardly gathered his things, quickly pecking Leni on the lips before walking out the door and leaving her with her cousins
Leni shut the door behind him and turned around to see her little cousins standing there with bewildered looks in their faces not knowing how to react
"Um do you want anything to eat or drink?" Leni offered very awkwardly
"No thanks" Ben declined politely as he and Tom walked over to the couch and sat down awkwardly
Leni walked down the hallway to Jack's room, his door was closed and she couldn't hear anything coming from it. She slowly turned the handle and creaked the door open and was able to see him sitting on his bed looking down at his hands that were sitting in his lap.
"Hey" Leni greeted awkwardly
"What do you want" Jack grunted not looking at her
"To talk" She suggested
"I'm good" He said bitterly
"Alright then I'll do the talking, You may not like the fact that I'm dating him but it's not your life its mine so I'm not going to let you dictate my life choices, you can be mad at me for as long as you'd like and hey I'm not gonna defend myself and say it's my fault and that I'll break up with him or anything because I'm starting to learn to prioritise myself and my happiness and this shouldn't make you resent me or Pat as it doesn't effect you. I'm going to go and we can talk again when you get over yourself a bit, I understand that you're annoyed I didn't tell you but you'll need to accept it because I'm not breaking up with him just because you want me to" Leni told him anger starting to bubble in her stomach running out of breath towards the end
"I am annoyed though because my cousin who is my best friend and more like my sister started dating my captain who also happens to be one of my good mates behind my back and then doesn't care that it hurts me that she's dating one of my friends who to be honest I don't think is good enough for her" Jack fired back
"What" Leni shouted starting to get really mad
"I don't think he's good enough for you" Jack clarified standing up and looking into Leni's eyes seeing the fiery glare she was directing at him
"Oh yeah an why's that" Leni asked fuming
"He's a good mate but he's a popular footy player, captain and he has a ton of girls falling at his feet. He'll probably just cheat or something" He shouted as they stood in front of each other glaring harshly, there was no doubt the other 2 in the apartment could hear them but neither cared
"You don't get a choice in my love life, I don't care what you think right now. Get over yourself" Leni scoffed angrily
"Fine ignore me but if he breaks your heart don't come crying to me" Jack told her before walking back to his bed and sitting down
"I'm going to Cassie's for the night" Leni said storming out angrily and walking to her room to pack some things for the night as she walked she felt a pain shoot up through her leg from her ankle as she rolled it slightly, wincing she sat down and retaped it before continuing what she was doing.
Once Leni was done grabbing a few things she walked out to the lounge room and saw her little cousins sitting in the couch in their phones.
"I'm going to Cassie's can one of you take the cake out of the oven when then timer goes off? I'll see you at dinner tomorrow" She told them walking towards the door
"Yeah sure, bye" Ben said seemingly unbothered about everything that had just happened
Leni walked out to her car and got in driving to Cassie's house nearby.

A/N 1256 words. I wanted drama so i made them argue, the family dinners gonna be really awkward. anyway have a good day/night. I was considering not posting this tonight because i wanted to leave you hanging for longer but i didn't
