Chapter 17

9am Monday January 9th 2017

They had been training for 2 hours just doing some drills before Bolts and Damo decided the boys would go to the weights for around hour whilst the girls stayed on the oval and then they would switch.

The boys walked off the oval with Bolton and went to the weights room, Bolton said he would be doing work in his office and told them to just work on their strength while they were in there he then left.

Pat walked over to a pull up bar and decided to do some pull ups, as he was doing a few Marc walked over to him and stood in front of Patrick making him quite confused.

"Do you need something mate?" questioned a confused Pat

"So when are you going to shoot your shot with Leni?" asked Marc making sure Jack wasn't close enough to hear and cut Pat's dick off, he did not want that.

"What do you mean?" asked Patty acting all clueless

"Cut the crap mate, Weiters and I have noticed you two are getting close and we have a bet that I want to win so hurry up with it would you" Marc said before walking over to the weights leaving a confused Pat hanging on the pull up bar.

Leni and the girls were doing some handballing drills and Leni got paired with Tilly, Tilly was one of Leni's close friends so she was happy to paired with her. As they did the drills they started chatting

"Hey Len, how's it going with Crippa?" asked Tilly with a teasing look on her face

"Seriously" Leni groaned

"I want to know how it's going because it seems like only Murphy, Weitering, Bella, Darcy and I have noticed something between you two" she said with a shrug.

"Well I've got his number, we've texted a bit and at the meeting earlier the coaches weren't there so we were just talking and getting to know each other" Leni said with a slight blush on her cheeks

"Ooooh, you better keep me updated" said Tilly

"Sure" Leni laughed.

The girls kept doing there drills it got switched to kicking and tackling. They did that for the rest of their time on the oval, eventually it was time for them to swap with the boys.

Damo told Leni before they walked inside that he would be in his office whilst they were in the weights room and wanted her to run a stretch and workout before they started using the equipment, she agreed and the team started walking to the room.

Damo walked to his office as the girls walked into the weights room, the boys were still in there and didn't notice the girls enter until Leni cleared her throat. Bolts walked into the room and saw the girls standing there so he quickly pulled Leni to the side to talk to her.

"Hey do you reckon we could keep using the room while you guys do, the boys need some more time?" he asked

"Yeah sure we can share the space" she told him

"Thank you, I'll be with Damo if you need me boys" he shouted. The boys looked over as he left

"Okay we're all sharing the room, so you boys can join the stretch and workout I'm leading if you'd like" Leni told them about 10 of them agreed and walked into the middle with all the girls to do the workout.

The boys that had joined were; the trio, Fish, Crippa, Murph, Weiters, Ed, Lachie and Mckay.

"Alright let's start with some stretches so no one pulls a muscle" Leni told everyone, she started leading some stretching and found it funny watching people who weren't flexible try and do the split and other similar stretches.

Once they finished stretching they began the actual workout, Leni's aim was to make them all feel like they're about to collapse so she decided on a workout she created in high school that always made her feel like she was going to fall over at the end.

After doing said workout they were all laying in the ground barely able to stand, the workout had taken a bit over half an hour. The coaches came in and told them that they could finish training up after it had been about 4 hours.

Leni and the girls went to their locker rooms, some showered whilst the rest just changed, after they were all dressed the girls just sat on the benches in the room chatting with one another seeing as they didn't see each other over the weekend.

"Damo told me earlier that training is at night tomorrow and won't be with the boys" Leni said forgetting that Damo told her to tell the rest of them

"What time?" asked Alison D

"We start at 6 and go until about 10" responded Leni

"Okay" a few said. They all started leaving one by one and as Leni was walking out of the locker room Jack walked up to her.

"I'm gong to spend the night at Caleb"s and go to training with him since we start at 9, is that cool with you?" he asked

"Yeah sure, I start at 6pm tomorrow so I will happily have the house to myself for the day" she laughed

"Alright bye see you tomorrow" he said before walking over to Caleb and Charlie.

Leni was at home she had been home for around an hour when she started to get quite bored she couldn't call Cassie since she had work today and was directing her first fashion shoot.

Leni opted for Calling Patrick, she didn't know why she decided to do that but she thought it was a good idea. After about 5 rings he picked up.

"Hey" Leni said into the phone

"Hey Nora, why'd you call?" he asked

"I'm bored and I have nothing to do so I thought I'd call you" She responded

"Oh okay, I'm pretty bored too" he said

"Do you wanna go out and do something together?" Leni suggested

"Yeah sure" Pat said "Do you want me to come and pick you up?" he asked her

"Yes please, I'll text you my address" She told him whilst texting it

"Okay I'll be there in like 20 minutes" he told her before they both said bye.

Leni quickly got off the couch and went to her wardrobe she settled on some black leggings, a cropped tank top and some Nike air force 1s like every other basic Melbourne bitch. She did some light make up and tied her up before going to sit on the couch and wait for Pat to pick her up.

AN 1115 words idk what this is i wrote it 2am after 3 cups of coffee to finish an assignment but i hope you like it. also if you have a favourite character please tell me cause i really wanna know. reading through this i don't even remember writing most of this
