Chapter 38

8:30pm Monday February 27th 2017

Leni and Cassie were sitting in the couch trying to remember what some of the clapping things they did in primary school were when Leni's phone started ringing, she got up and walked to the kitchen bench where it was sitting and picked up seeing that it was Patrick.

"Hey, what's up" Leni greeted as she walked back to the couch

"Hey Nora" Pat said siting in his bed looking out the window watching as the quartet drove away with an angry Jack

"IS THAT JONATHON?" Cassie yelled excitedly

"Yes, now hush" Leni giggled slightly

"Jonathon?" Pat questioned

"Cassie thinks you look like a Jonathon so that's what she calls you now" Leni explained

"Ok then, I'll need to meet Cassie soon" Pat laughed

"Hi I'm Cassie" Cassie said as Leni put the phone on speaker

"Hi I'm Patrick" Pat said introducing himself

"No you're Jonathon" Cassie told him seriously

"Okay I'm Jonathon, anyway shit just happened" Pat said agreeing with Cassie so that he could begin to speak

"oh fuck what happened" asked Leni

"Alright so about half the team were at mine and Lachie's place when I got home and I chilled in my room for a while before I went downstairs and Jsos was here but I kind of ignored him until he came over then he got mad and we started arguing and now everyone knows we're dating but Jsos just left with Caleb, Charlie and Zac." Pat informed them in one breath

"Fuck, are you both okay?" Leni checked

"Yeah it wasn't physical Charlie broke it up before anything else's apart from yelling could happen" Patrick said

"Okay good, he needs to get over it and accept it" Leni whined

"Eleanora, Jack is a fuckwit it'll take him like 5 days I reckon before he realises it doesn't even effect him if you two are dating" Cassie said patting her shoulder sympathetically, her speech earned a shirt of laughter from Pat

"I know, can I stay here til he gets over himself?" asked Leni

"Yeah sure" Cassie agreed

"Okay I'm gonna say bye now" Pat said

"Bye" the two girls echoed as he hung up the phone

"I'm still coming to family dinner tomorrow right?" Cassie asked

"Yeah of course everyone missed you at the last one, I think they all like you more than they like me" Leni laughed

"I mean I am pretty amazing" Cassie said cockily before the two burst out laughing.

The next day came quickly, Leni only had a short one hour training and that was at about 12:30, the time was currently 12pm but Leni and Cass were still passed out on the couch.

Leni had her head in Cassie's lap and Cassie was in a sitting position with her feet on the coffee table, Cassie had Tuesday's off meaning it was fine for her to sleep the day away but if Leni didn't wake up soon she would most likely be late. Leni would probably wake up Cass anyway knowing that she would have things planned to do throughout the day and also Leni needed a ride to training.

Before the two had fallen asleep the night before Leni had panicked realising that the mens team were training at the same time as them, she had hope that they would be seperate which was a possibility but if they weren't then it would probably be quite awkward.

At 12:10 Leni slowly started to wake up and quickly checked the time, seeing that she had 20 minutes before training was going to start she got up quickly waking up Cassie in the process and ran to Cassie's spare room which was basically Leni's room and pulled out her training clothes putting them on as quickly as possible. She then made sure her training bag was packed and her phone was charged before heading into the kitchen to grab something to eat on the go.

Leni and Cass wereout the door by 12:20, Cassie had to go shopping for food and other necessities so she was fine with driving a Leni to training. It didn't take very long to get there as there was little to no traffic and the two girls arrived at about 12:25 Leni quickly jumped out of the car saying goodbye to Cass as she ran into Ikon.

As she walked into the locker room Darcy, Bella and Tilly ran up to her immediately and began bombarding her with questions.

"Are you and Crippa dating?" Asked Darcy

"Yeah I heard from Caleb that Jack found out and got pissed or something" Bella added on as Tilly stood there looking at her expectantly

"Chill, let me put my stuff away first" Leni said quickly walking to her locker and putting her bag away

"Okay so are you two dating?" Tilly enquired as the 4 girls sat in the floor

"Yeah" Leni mumbled looking down feeling bad that she hadn't told the 3 girls who were some of her closest friends

"Damn bitch, go you" Bella shouted causing the rest of the team to look towards them

"Can you tell them" Asked Darcy in a whisper

"Yeah I may as well the whole other team knows" Leni sighed

"I'm dating Patrick Cripps" She announced before turning away and pretending to look for something in her locker

"Wait really?!" Asked Kate looking at her with her jaw practically on the floor as the rest of the team looked similar

"Yeah it was a secret then Jack found out, flipped his shit and then he and Patrick got in a big fight at Patrick's house with like half of their team there so now their whole team knows and you guys may as well know too" Leni informed them all

"Okay I'm just gonna say this, I don't think anyones really surprised I mean there is a crazy amount of sexual tension between you" Shrugged Gab pound earning a lot of noises of agreement

"Really? I thought we were low key" Leni laughed

"Yeah definitely not, I mean I don't know how many people noticed but most of us did" Laura told her with a smile

"I really thought we did well in hiding everything" Leni huffed

"I mean we didn't know you were dating but we all saw some sexual tension and shit" Alison spoke

"Alright, we'll let's go out for a very awkward training. because Jack and I got in a massive argument when he found out and I kinda stormed out" Leni winced

"How'd he find out" Aksed Bianca

"Well he and my little cousins, his brothers, kind of walked in on us making out" Leni said awkwardly scratching the back of her neck

"Oh shit, yeah this is gonna be an awkward training, but hey maybe we won't be doing anything with them" Brea told her with a hopeful smile on her face

"I hope so, anyway we should probably go out we're already 5 minutes late" Leni told them all as she alchemies the time on her phone

The girls all walked out to the oval and much to their luck there was no sight of the other team meaning they were probably in the gym, Leni just hoped that they would stay there.
