Chapter 21

12:30pm Monday January 30th 2017

It had been about 3 weeks since Leni and Pat had last talked. Most of the trainings since then hadn't been with both teams and the couple that had been Leni and Pat didn't talk to each other. They weren't ignoring each other but simply just weren't talking to each other thinking that the other didn't want to talk to them.

This didnt confuse or worry anyone except Darcy, Bella, Tilly, Murph and Weiters. The 4 of them had all talked to each other wondering what the fuck had happened seeing as they were the only people in both teams that had actually noticed something between the 2 captains.

Today there was training at 1:30 for both teams and it was quite chaotic at the Silvagni-Torelle apartment currently.

Leni was running around trying to find one of her footy boots, Jack was attempting to cook pizza for lunch, Cassie had gotten out Monopoly and was playing with Caleb and Fish, Charlie was trying to scare everyone and was quite successful and finally Darcy and Bella were just opening the door to chaos.

"HEY" Darcy shouted over the noise of Jack screeching because he burnt himself, Cassie yelling and getting mad because she wasn't winning, Charlie trying to scare Len who was looking under the table for her boot resulting in him getting whacked in the stomach with a boot.

They all quietened down looking over to the two who had just entered.

"What the fuck is going on?" asked a confused Bella as she walked over to Jack and put his burnt finger under cold water before walking back over to where Darcy was.

"Well I'm trying to find my other footy boot, Jack is trying to make Pizza, Charlie's attempting to scare everybody and the rest are playing monopoly" Leni responded casually.

"Um okay sure" Darcy said going to plonk on the couch to watch monopoly as Bella walked over to Jacks pizza and tried to fix it but he had really fucked it up somehow.

"Jack you are literally Italian. How did you fuck up a pizza this badly?" asked Bella looking kind of concerned and very disgusted

"It's not that bad" he said defensively

"Jack it hasn't been in the oven yet but the base is rock hard" she said

"Oh" he responded with his burnt finger still under the water.

Everyone had resumed what they were doing but a bit less chaotically now that Cassie was winning monopoly and not cracking it.

"Len, Bellsy, Darce, when's your first game?" asked Cass looking up from the monopoly board that had just been flipped by Caleb since he was losing.

"It's this Friday" Leni said

"Alright cool I'm coming, obviously" Cass said

"AH HA, I found my missing boot everyone" Leni said getting up from the floor in front of the couch holding it up triumphantly

"Good job Leni" Charlie said shaking his head in amusement as he watched all the dumb things everyone was doing

The trio of idiots had officially turned into a group of idiots who were yet to get a new namewith Fish becoming part of the squad. They were all kind of like brothers to Leni at this point, seeing as they were at the apartment almost everyday.

Leni and all the footy players had arrived at training after dropping Cassie off at her work, both Cassie and Leni had quit their jobs at the pub seeing as they were know both making a steady income and didn't need to work there anymore.
