5pm Tuesday February 21st 2017
Leni was getting dressed in her room for a dinner with her Mum, Aunt and Nonna she was planning to update them on her love life, she was slightly scared for their reaction. She knew that they would be happy but she didn't know if they were gonna scream, laugh or sit in silence, Leni didn't even know if there was an option she'd prefer.
After getting dressed opting for jeans and a nice shirt she walked to the bathroom to do some simple make up, Jack was a bit annoyed that he would have to cook and eat his dinner alone because of her going out despite her suggesting he could just invite someone over but apparently no one was free.
After finishing getting ready she grabbed her bag before walking into the lunge room where Jack was sitting on the couch watching TV.
"Alright I'm going now, you'll be fine right?" Leni checked as she began walking to the door
"Yeah I'll be fine, do you know when you'll be back?" He asked walking to the kitchen
"I'll probably be back around 8 or 9" She informed him whilst checking she had everything she needed
"Alright bye" Leni said waving as she walked out the door, getting in her car she began driving to a restaurant that she and her family would go to regularly as kids.

Arriving at the restaurant she walked in seeing her Mum and Nonna at a table, walking over she starting getting excited knowing that in at least half an hour she's be able to tell them about Patrick. She wanted to wait until Jo arrived and they had ordered their food, about 5 minutes later Jo arrived and joined them all at the table.
"Okay why did we need an emergency dinner?" asked her Nonna Rita
"I will tell you once we order our food" She said with a small smile on her face
The women all ordered what they wanted knowing the whole menu from the thousands of times they had been there.
"Alright now that we've ordered, what's happened that needed a dinner?" asked her mum
"Okay so I have a boyfriend" She said quickly, but they all heard
"IS IT PATRICK IF SO WE ALL CALLED IT" Shouted her mum before getting shushed by Rita, they looked at her waiting for an answer
"Yes it is but it's kind of a secret until I figure out how I would tell Jack because he would crack the shits if he knew I had a boyfriend especially one of his friends" She told them
"Oh Jack's opinion doesn't matter just do what makes you happy" Jo said with a scoff
"Yeah but we've decided to keep it a secret cause I don't want Jack mad at me but when I figure out a good way to tell that won't make him annoyed then we won't need to keep it a secret" She told them all
"Well as long as your happy" Her nonna said giving her a small hug
"How'd he ask you?" Questioned her mum and aunt at the same time
"Well we went out to Luna park yesterday because neither of us had anything to do and at like 7 we were on the ferris wheel before planning to go out for dinner and then I just kinda admitted that I liked him and he said he liked me too, so then we kissed and he asked me to be his girlfriend. Oh then dinner afterwards was our first date" She rambled with a slight blush tinting her cheeks
"Aww that's cute" Jo laughed
"Was he a good kisser?" asked her mum
"MUM, seriously" She half squeaked half yelled
"What I wanna know" She defended putting her hands up in surrender
"Well yes he was, we kissed twice because I also kissed him when he dropped me at home" She mumbled with a blush
"Ah young love" Sang her Nonna dreamily
Their meals arrived eventually so they started to dig in whilst chatting, even though they saw each other regularly they always had something too talk about. Leni was very grateful for them and was very glad that they were close with each other and that she could tell them everything especially back when she was in high school and had all the high school drama.

At about 8:30 Leni decided she should start heading home so after bidding then all goodbye and paying for her meal she headed out to her car. Most times in her car she was with someone else so it was weird for her being in the car with just the radio, as she drove back to the apartment she thought about her and Patrick's first kiss once again, every time she thought about it she smiled.
About half way home her phone began ringing it immediately synced up to her car with bluetooth and she was able to answer it.
"Hello" She said in a strong tone as she didn't know who was calling her
"Hey Nora" responded the voice on the other end
"Hey Pat" She spoke in a softer voice now knowing who she was talking to
"What are you up to?" He asked whilst lying on his bed looking at the ceiling
"I'm driving home from dinner, I just told my mum, Jo and Nonna about us" She informed him
"What do they think" He asked curiously
"They were ecstatic, I'm pretty sure they all love you" She laughed
"Phew I wouldn't want them to hate me" He chuckled
"Yeah, You've met them before right?" She asked
"Yeah I think I've met them once or twice but I've only said Hi and how are you, y'know" He said thinking back to when he met them
"Yeah, was it back when Jack first started?" She questioned
"I think so" he told her
"Cool, What are you doing?" Leni asked
"I'm lying on my bed talking to you, Lachie's being boring and not doing anything" He groaned
"Well suck it up buttercup, anyway I'm a great person to talk to and I'm bored as well" She laughed
"Soo what are you doing tomorrow?" He asked dragging out the O
"Well we have a night time training tomorrow so I'll probably catch up with Cassie for a little bit, maybe go to the gym and just chill at home" Leni told him as she stopped at a red light
"We've got an early morning training that starts at like 7" He whined
"That sucks for you" She laughed
"Oh shush, anyway do you wanna hang out tomorrow?" he asked
"Yeah sure, what are we gonna do?" She questioned
"You could come over, Lachie's going out for the day tomorrow" He suggested
"Yeah Okay, what time should I come over" She inquired
"How about 12?" he said
"Okay I'll be there" She laughed pulling into the car park of the apartment complex
"Cool" He smiled
"Okay I'm pulling in now so I'll see you tomorrow" She told him
"Okay, Bye and I'll see you tomorrow" He said
"Yep bye" She chirped before hanging up as she parked
......
Walking into the apartment she saw Jack sitting on the couch watching TV, quickly saying goodnight she retired to her room for the remainder of the evening. A few hours later she was able to fall asleep.
