Another Loss.
The Womens team lost their 3rd game ever, it was against Melbourne they played at Casey Fields which was Melbourne's home ground and lost by 6 points. It may not of been much but it was still a loss. It took a hit on the team losing 2 games in a row wasn't good for anyones confidence, to make it even worse Leni got hurt during the match, she felt her ankle give out which caused her to fall whilst running. She didn't want to go off so she played it off like she tripped, no one suspected a thing, there was no way she was taking anytime off even if it was for an injury.
Leni was lying in bed, she had put an ice pack on her ankle before she went to sleep hoping it would help it and she would be fine, but as she got out of bed she realised that wasn't the case.
Stepping onto the floor she felt pain shoot you from her ankle but opted to ignore it knowing she could play it off like she was fine, it didn't feel to bad.
There wasn't any training for the day seeing as they needed a rest from the game Leni had hope that if she stayed in bed resting her ankle she would be fine because there was no way she was going to the Physio and having them say she couldn't play the upcoming game, she would rather play it in pain than miss it.
Leni had slept until about midday meaning that Jack would already be at a mates place like every other day, Leni decided to invite Cassie over, the two of them hadn't spent much time together recently because of Leni's training and Cassie's work.
Cass had gone to her game the day prior cheered her on until the end, despite them losing she was proud of all of them and attempted to cheer them all up in the locker room afterwards.
Cassie had become friends with the whole team after meeting them all at their first game, Cassie was very extroverted and would talk to anyone and everyone which resulted in her becoming friends with them all.
Getting up and going to the kitchen Leni made a coffee before Cassie arrived, she also grabbed the sports tape and taped up her ankle in an attempt to relieve some pain, which worked thankfully.

Cassie barged into the house wearing trackies and a baggy shirt carry a shopping bag in one hand and her phone in the other, she quickly put down the shopping bag and began unpacking it revealing a shit ton of junk food which confused Leni slightly.
"Hey Cass" Leni greeted
"Hey Len, I brought a ton of food to eat whilst watching movies and shit"
"Ooh okay" Leni chuckled wincing slightly as she jogged over to Cassie, luckily Cassie took no notice of her ankle and instead grabbed some snacks before dragging Leni to the couch and chucking on Mean girls
"How are you doing after yesterday?" Cassie asked cautiously
"Not bad, I just want to start training again and win this week" Leni said with determination
"You're all amazing players I'm sure you can win it" Cassie told her reassuringly
"Yeah I hope so"

The two girls sat on the couch eating and chatting for the majority of the day, it was about 4:30 when Cassie left and Jack arrived home. Leni greeted Jack before walking to her room and calling Patrick.
After about 3 rings he picked up.
"Hey Nora" He greeted
"Hey"
"You alright after last night?" Pat asked as he sat down on his bed
"Yeah I'm alright, No one likes losing but there's nothing we can do about it except win out next game" She sighed
"Just stay focused on winning this weeks game and try and forget about yesterday" He advised
"Yeah I'll try, do you have training tomorrow?" Asked Leni
"Yeah in the morning again" he groaned
"Ooh that sucks, we start at like 11 and finish at 2" she laughed
"I wish we did that" he whined
"Do you want to come over after my training tomorrow?" asked Leni knowing Jack wouldn't be home the next day because he was going to something with Ben and Tom
"Yeah, sure" Pat said
"Cool, I'm so bored there is nothing to do in this apartment and I'm pretty sure Jack is texting some of his friends and probably won't want me to annoy him" Leni laughed
"Lachie and Jonesy were annoying me so I went up to my room to escape" Pat chuckled lying down on his bed
"Ah of course" Leni sighed
"I've got to go but I'll see you tomorrow, bye" Pat said as he heard a knock at his door
"Okay, bye" Leni spoke with a smile on her face as he hung up the phone, Leni pulled her ankle towards herself and was able to see that the swelling that was present that morning had begun to reduce which meant that she would hopefully be able to run on it without showing signs of pain at training the next day.
Leni got up and walked into Jack's room, he was sitting on his bed scrolling in his phone meaning he wasn't busy.

"What" He grunted still looking at his phone
"I'm bored" Leni whined
"Hi bored I'm Jack" He said with a small chuckle
"Oh fuck off" Leni drawled
"Why do you feel the need to annoy me?" Jack asked finally looking up at her, he saw her laying like a starfish on the ground
"Boredom" She mumbled
"What are you doing?" He asked in confusion seeing her poke her tongue out
"I'm drying out my tongue" She attempted to say with her tongue hanging out
"Why?" Jack questioned
"There's nothing to do" She complained
"Okay how about we order pizza?" Jack suggested
"Ooh yeah" Leni said energetically bouncing up off the floor and pulling him off his bed
"Ow" He said as he landed on the floor looking up and glaring at her
"Oops" Leni laughed before walking to the kitchen
"You bitch" Jack shouted as she walked away
The two cousins sat on the couch most of the night eating pizza, talking and watching movies, Leni continuously insulted Jack throughout the night until he threatened to call their Nonna which quickly shut her up.
