With many things happening so fast in his 17 years long life, Seokjin could barely remember how he got to where he was, all he knew is that he's sick. Very sick. Orphaned after an accident he could barely recall and only saw in his nightmares, he wa...

"Jin, are you sure you're okay?" Hoseok asked softly, his voice sounding concerned as he stared at the one in front of him.
Jin was sitting on the bed, looking from the window, the IV tube still connected to his arm and the heartbeat rate monitor still on his finger.
"Yes hyung." He replied coldly, sounding rather weak and lifeless.
"What happened?" The doctor asked while taking the younger's warm hand in his. "Did something trigger it?"
"No..." Jin replied with the same tone, yanking his hand from the doctor's caring one.
"You're lying..." The latter voiced out after his lips formed a sad pout, as the boy rejected his touch.
"How do you know?" Jin sighed, turning his head to Hoseok, tired of lying more.
"You never look at anyone when you lie." The latter smiled at him, making the other look down. "Tell me about it... What happened?"
"I... broke up with her..." Jin talked after gulping, making Hoseok bite his lips and lower his head, feeling sorry for the younger. "And I lied to her... Saying that I don't love her..."
"I'm so sorry..." He mumbled with a low concerned voice.
"Don't be, I'm tired of being weak, I can deal with it." The sick boy talked and suddenly started to cough violently while clutching his chest tightly in pain, with Hoseok holding him. "And this is the real reason why I left her... Dang it..."
He mumbled in an audibly low voice with a pain-filled mocking chuckle.
"You shouldn't have done that to her and to yourself, Jin." Hoseok's tone was calm as he cupped his face and talked, trying to convince the younger how wrong what he did was. "I promised you that you'll recover from your disease and live a normal life just like all of us, why don't you believe me?"
"Don't give me fake hope, hyung." Jin's cold tone was so unusual to Hoseok and it shocked the latter to see his other face, so different from the cheerful cute Jin he knew. "I know there's no treatment for heart disease, especially on this stage. It's too late, why don't you just let me die and end my suffering already?"
Silence took place, Hoseok's eyes widened and he froze. Did Jin, his best friend's son, just wished to die?
"J-Jin how... How can you say that?!" He yelled at him, grabbing his arms and gripping them so tightly that they started to shake. "You've worked hard to survive and fought you disease all these years and now you're wishing to die?!"
"Why should I try to live when I know I'm dying soon?" The younger talked blankly, lump stuck in his throat after thinking about it.
"Jin what's wrong with you?!" Hoseok scolded loudly while shaking him, and clearly lost his patience. "You're not dying soon! I'm not letting you die! Don't let yourself down either! You should cooperate if you wanna keep going!"
