Chapter 26---- We'll work it out

After what happened on Friday night,Glass and Delen had decided to start over, trust each other and hopefully, make their marriage work.

It was a big step.
She knew that.

But then she was willing to give it a try....and so was Delen.
Much to her delight, they had spent the rest of the weekend having conversations, getting to know each other properly.

She couldn't bring herself to tell him about Taliat but she would.... Soon.

Delen had cooked for her, much to her surprise.
He could cook very well.

And that only made her fall for him just a bit more.

She liked him more than she cared to admit.

" Hi Janet " she said to Janet the following Monday as she walked in to the kitchen.

" Hi Child" Janet replied in her usual cheerful tone.

" What's for breakfast?, mmm, what's cooking? Smells good. "
" Nothing really dear, just tortillas and salad "
" I'm hungry already "
" it would be ready in a while "
" okay, uhmm where is my husband, seen him around?"
" oh, he left early for work. He said there was an emergency "
" oh, okay "
" Don't worry, he'd be back soon "

" I'm not worried " she blushed lightly
" hah, says who? Look at your face child, it shouts ' I MISS HIM!!"
Glass laughed

" yeah I miss him already "
" there it is!"
" haha, Janet?"
" yes ma'am--sorry Glass "
" I think I'm in love with him "

" hallelujah! Aww I knew it! He loves you too child "
" yeah, he kinda told me "
" isn't that wonderful!" Janet said happily, clapping.

The phone rung and Janet picked it up
" hi! A file?, blue? Okay I will, bye "
She looked at the curious Glass.
" the boss said he left an important file in the sturdy, blue in colour, if you could bring it over to the office at 11 "
" okay, I'll take it there right away "
" why not send a steward?"

" No, I want to see him "She said, making Janet beam happily.
" all right then, be back early to eat"
" Ai ai captain!"
They laughed

" Hey, I came over to this file to my husband " Glass said pleasantly to the front desk personnel.
" Welcome ma'am, the boss is in his office "
" Thanks "
She was about to head for the elevator when a voice stopped her.

Can't she just stop pestering her life?

" There goes the bitch!" Kate said loudly, heads turning at them, murmurs erupting lowly

" What do you want here you little bitch?" Kate asked rudely, walking up to Glass. She turned to head for the elevator when Kate pulled her back roughly, causing Glass to stumble.

" I asked you a fucken question "
" I don't have your time... no,wrong statement. Lemme re fix.
I don't have time for YOU, a desperate loser who can't even fix her make up properly "

Glass bit back. She felt her earlier good mood evaporating as anger replaced it.

Kate grasped, touching her face sharply, diving into her bag for mirror.

Girl, you savage.
She smiled triumphantly at the look Kate had on.

Some people laughed lowly.
" Stupid face " Glass added, chuckled  and walked away.
She laughed proudly as she heard Kate yell
" Who fixed my fucken make up!"

When she got to his office, his 'always busy' Secretary was busy as usual. After pleasantries, Glass went ahead into his office.

He was busy, typing away.
He's always busy.
Until these last few days when he gave you all his time. Yet, you wouldn't sleep with him.
Biatch.

" Hey "
" G-Glass, yeah hey "
Someone is nervous to see you... Girl you have him wrapped around your tiny little fingers.

" I brought the file " she said, smiling shyly as she handed him the file. He stood up and collected it.
" Thanks " he said with a smile
" Welcome "

Silence

" I should go now " she said awkwardly

Bitch you Know you don't wanna

" No, no. Wait, uhmm, you wanna go out for dinner tonight?"
He asked, crossing over to her
" uhm, sure "
" okay.... " he said, smirking as he gazed at her lips.

She laughed when he kissed her.
The guy is addicted to her lips
" I'm addicted to your lips " he said against her lips.

  The Fuck! Did he just read her thought?

He bit her lower lip slyly, edging her to kiss him back. And when she did, it was haven, nothing else mattered.... Nothing .

Her lips were in sync with his, struggling for control. Her body, so soft and sweet against his hard one. He kissed her fervently.

" you have a meeting in less than five minutes" she said through kisses.
" I do?" He asked rhetorically and she laughed
" yes "
" I love you being around " he said and hugged her
" come on Delen, I'll be home when you come " she said
" we'll make love?" He asked slyly

" DELEN!" She hit him playfully. She was blushing hard.
" you're funny baby, I like that " Delen said, kissing her again before setting her free.

" Dinner kiddo, don't forget "
" I won't. See you "
" okay " he said with reluctance, a smirk on his face.
She smiles and walked out.

You sneaky little thing!
You're always getting hot with him in his office?.

As she stepped out of the office, she came into contact with him.....
" Your majesty!"
