☆ Satisfaction over happiness ☆

Sometimes we don't realise what is that makes us happy. We get lost between satisfaction and happiness.

People think that happiness and satisfaction go hand in hand but the reality is slightly different. In the presence of happiness, satisfaction is always there. But when a person is satisfied it can't be said that he is happy too.

Madhuri was satisfied , she won again ! Today Annika's absence will make Aditya feel hurt. This is what she wanted! The Singhal siblings will have to drift apart , specially Aditya and Annika.

She was not exactly happy with all this. She was not happy with anything in her life since a forever now. But this one thing would give her satisfaction. Satisfaction of breaking the bond between Mamta's kids.

Mamta always taught the young Adi to care endlessly for his younger brother or sister who at that moment was in Madhuri's womb.

Mamta wished her children to be each others strength and support to lean. She wanted her kids to share a unbreakable bond. Something she could not have with her own sister.

"Where are you lost , Madhuri? " Adhiraj asked bringing her back to the reality.

"No where , just got a bit nostalgic. Time runs too fast , I didn't even realised when the time of his wedding came up . He is going to start his own family! " she smiled at her own words.

She hardly had to think before saying anything. Words always slipped perfectly through her mouth. And why not ! She had been acting , lying from past twenty years. Now she herself didn't know who was her real self.

Adhiraj's phone rang and he picked up. Listening to the caller his brows twitched.

"Okay ! "

"What happened?" Aditya asked concerned.

"Nikku was last spotted going out of the palace today morning. But they don't have the footage of her getting back because after korath the cameras of residency were turned off." Adhiraj spoke with a worried sign.

Madhuri just stood there listening to them. It was disheartening that Annika wouldn't be showing up till the wedding but if she did then according to Madhuri's plan she'll have oblige to get married to Sameer at the earliest. At least that's what she had told Annika. She had a plan and this was the first step in it , to keep Annika in a mirage. Her plan to show her something which never existed.

"How can she be so irresponsible! At least she could have informed someone before going! Now when it's almost the time of the Nikasi then people will go around looking for her , ridiculous! " she said with her face laced with fake disappointment.

Her words caused her sharp look by Aditya while Adhiraj backed his daughter.

"There must have been a reason or Nikku never does something like this. She is aware of her responsibilities"

"Mom , how can you..." Aditya's room door opened with a thud and stood there Kartik with a thaal in his hands.

"God ! you guys are still here. According to muhurat its time for the nikasi." Kartik spoke as he kept the thaal on the table.

"You know where's Anni ? " Aditya asked concerned.

"I don't know where is she now but she told me to not be late for the nikasi more than fifteen minutes " he answered slightly confused looking at each of their faces.

Aditya huffed "Have you seen her from the morning? "

"Yeah! She was with the wedding planner sorting out the gifts issue. What happened? "
