Annika checked her what's app for the fourth time in ten minutes. No, there was no message nothing important. She did it to pass time.
She was waiting for her friends at the Indian restaurant from past twenty minutes and there was no sign of the three. Another ten minutes and she would order, because why will she stay hungry for those idiots.
Someone closed her eyes from her from behind and she mentally signed, trust them to behave this silly till now.
"Gauri, Tanya I now you both are there" she said holding both their hands.
"Tell me which hand is mine and which her Tanya's?" Gauri said and Annika thought she couldn't be more stupid.
"Bhavya teach these idiots something about maturity " Annika said.
"Come on! Annika tell" Gauri nagged
"Okay Gauri on the right and Tanya on the left, happy now move both of you" Annika said and both removed their hands and came in front.
Annika stood up to hug them, but even before she could do that Gauri jumped on her , by gods grace she didn't fall. When Gauri broke the hug Tanya and Bhavya too hugged her.
"You weren't this excited even before the releasing date of Salman Khan's latest movie" Annika said and Gauri pouted.
"Tell me how are you?" She once again said chuckling at Gauri's expression.
"You are asking as if we are meeting after ten years. We just met at your friend's exhibition madam" Tanya said grabbing the menu card.
"Tanya that was formal meet and anyway I was there to write the blog not to enjoy" Gauri said.
"Yes off coarse if you ignore the long stares and eye locks she had with Om" Annika teased.
"Is there something going on Gauri?" Bhavya questioned.
"No !Annika is exaggerating. I found that lad cute though , but that's it." Gauri replied
Tanya laughed at the duo that's when waiter came to the table for the second in Annika's presence.
"One kadai mushroom , one butter paneer, one malai kofta, three badam milk shake, tandoori roti" Tanya ordered while Gauri, Annika and Bhavya shook there heads in disbelief
"Order some more!" They said sarcastically
"Oh I forgot about the dessert, please add keser kulfi too" she said and Annika chuckled.
"What?" Tanya asked confused
"No nothing ,Tanya " Gauri said even before Annika could speak.
"I wonder how she manages her zero figure" Bhavya murmured and Gauri chuckled.
Lots of gossips were shared by Tanya while Gauri told about different interviews she took.
Bhavya was busy passing comments and judgements about everything.
Annika either shared her views about the topics or just smiled. She was waiting for something and finally it came.
"Well Annika how is sameer doing?? Didn't heard anything about him from you" asked Tanya casually but Annika knew better.
"He is fine , I wasn't able to talk to him much just a few messages anyway he'll be here in a few days" Annika informed while Gauri and Bhavya shared secretive smiles.
After dinner the gang of four split the bill in three and walked out. Tanya and Bhavya left a bit early due to some work. But Annika and Gauri decided to spend some time at Gauri's house.
"So tell me Anni what's going on in this mind of yours??" Gauri questioned sitting beside Annika on the back as the driver started to drive
"I didn't get you?"
"I mean you and Sameer are still dating that I know , but are you interested in him now or are you on your mission to set him up with Tanya ?" Gauri inquired
"You know me too well , don't you?" Annika said
"Don't dodge the question and answer me" Gauri smartly understood her attempt.
"Okay fine! I am not interested in him in that sense and yes I am still trying to set him up with Tanya" Annika told the truth
"So what's the plan of action" Gauri said opening the window of the car.
"Nothing much, Tanya was in Delhi last month so I planned a meet up but ditched her at last leaving her with Sameer." She told.
"More over they have been already in touch with other for a while."
"Sameer is he interested in you??" Gauri asked hesitantly
"Please Gauri! You know that I and Sameer both are in a namesake relationship, anyway he is one of my best friends" Annika said irritated with the question
"OK, OK sorry , and you can not blame me or anyone for that matter you guys have a great chemistry" gauri replied as a matter of fact.
"Oh please, Sameer is the fifth guy about whom you said this. Sameer genuinely cares about me ,I won't be shocked if he's forcing himself in this relationship for me" Annika defended
"Whatever, okay let's change the topic" Both of them walked out of the car and moved towards Gauri's house.
"Okay where's the painting I gifted you?" asked Annika
"Its in my room Anni, water?" Said Gauri
"No"
"Where are uncle and aunty??" Annika asked sitting in the living room with Gauri.
"Oh papa has gone to Pune and mumma is at masi's place. I am the queen of the palace tonight" she replied leaning on the couch and crossing her legs dramatically, while Annika shook her head disbelievingly.

Shivaay stirred the tomato soup in the pan barely able to control his smile.
But he was unaware of two weird creatures who were noticing his smile.
"O did I miss something today??" Rudra asked Om peeping in the kitchen
"I don't know maybe we both missed the same thing" Om replied peeping too.
"Okay then let's ask him only" suggested Rudra.
"I know you're dumb you don't need to prove it" Om said smacking him.
Somebody tapped on Om's shoulder and he shrugged.
As they both were peeping inside both were pushed inside resulting them to fall on the kitchen floor.
"Om, Ru what happened??" Shivaay asked
"Bhaiya ask O, he fell on me" said Rudra rubbing his forearm.
"Shut up Rudra, Shivaay I don't know but maybe while we were.." Om couldn't tell him that they were keeping an eye on him
"You were what? Om" Shivaay urged him to answer.
"Both were peeping in the kitchen" someone said and the obros turned towards the gate.
"Sanam!" They said in unison with delighted smile plastered on there faces.
