☆ The Oberoi trio and her ☆
Annika laughed throwing her head back once again. Rudra laughed too while Om shook his head at the incidents and silly jokes Rudra shared. He sometimes wondered how Annika found them funny?
Once she had regained her composure she turned her attention to him.
"Om tell me about your last exhibition, I mean how was it? " She asked.
"It was good in fact was better than the last one, the response was quite a thing for me." he said as a matter of fact.
"You are too good at it mister , that anyone would be impressed. Even I have bought two paintings online as a gift for one of my friends. She's is a art lover ! " she told him.
The trio were meeting after quite a long time and hence their talks were never ending. But in all the sharing of incidents Annika didn't notice a turquoise pair of eyes on her.
She was a distraction, a weird one. How clear her voice seemed to him only he knew. He liked everything about her but when asked then he will never admit it. But hiding from yourself is not possible and all his feelings always remain with him in some corner of his heart. He didn't even know them.
He was trying to focus on work but all he could do was listen to her conversation with his brothers
He walked into the living room where the three were busy gossiping. There chiter-chater halted when he entered and cleared his throat.
"What are you guys talking about?" he asked taking a seat.
"Nothing much Bhaiya I was telling Annika Di about my annual function where you were the chief guest" Rudra mischievously smiled
Shivaay cringed at the mention of the day. The function was a horrible experience for him.
"What about it??" he questioned.
"Professor Mitra was quite interested in flirting with you", Om reminded him of the day.
"Actually the girls of our college that day were gushing over him. See how hot he is!. Omg! Omg! He turned to glance at me." Rudra said mimicking someone
"Yeah, I am Shivaay Singh Oberoi. I must have a great female following. Tell me something new." Shivaay spoke arrogantly
"Yeah, and the great Mr Shivaay Singh Oberoi can't get himself a girlfriend", Annika replied to him, "Om, give me the number of that professor. Let me hook up Mr Saadu!"
"Please not her. That experience was horrible enough. I don't know how I could spend my life with her", Shivaay literally whined.
"I know another girl. She's like an amazing girl and for sure you will love her. Let me call Tanya."
Annika was not at all surprised to listen about his female following and demand. He was always like this. He and her brother were once the heartthrob of their school and were very famous in college too. He was blessed with perfection , from looks to money with a devil of mind, a family who loves him he had everything.
"Please no need to hook me up. Never gonna be the chief guest of any college again" Shivaay's voice brought her out of the thoughts.
"Why ? You got scared that your hidden girlfriend will kill you ? "Annika raised her brows mischeaviosly smiling.
"No , no secret girlfriend. But I would prefer to be single for now" Shivaay looked away uncomfortable suddenly.
Annika giggled at his expense and looked at the time.
"Guys I should leave its late." she said taking her clutch from the center table.
"Annika stay for dinner please its been so long. Remember you loved to have food with us. So stay we'll have dinner together just like old days" Om requested.
"Om she has dinner plans with her friends tonight, maybe some other time she'll join." shivaay spoke instead of Annika
"How do you know that? Are you by any chance spying on me?" She dramatically asked.
"Well don't give yourself so much importance Paanika. Your elder brother is my best friend. He told me." he said focusing on pannika more.
She narrowed her eyes thinking of a comeback but choose to shut up.
"Yeah whatever you... You billu "

"Ouch! Bhai slowly ,they are my hair not rope" she said to her elder brother who was massaging her scalp with almond oil
"Sorry Anu!" Aditya said
"Kartik chachi and chachu will be here by afternoon right?" she questioned Kartik
"Yeah Di, Udaipur's destination wedding took so long." Kartik replied with his concentration on applying the nail colour on her nails and not messing up
It was around ten in the morning and Annika was getting pampered from her brothers after quite a long time.
Her chachi and chachu had gone to a friends's daughter destination wedding. Her father had already left for office and she was really not aware if her mother was home or not.
"Ouch ! bhai please let it be by the time you'll finish massaging I'll become hairless" she said getting up from the floor.
"Sorry it's almost done, wait!" Aditya spoke rubbing his palms together with had almond oil on them.
"No need thank you." she said clearly unhappy with getting strands of hair broken.
Aditya signed and got up to wash his hands. While Kartik laughed at duo who glared him.
After a while when Aditya came down dressed in his business casual with indicated that he had a recording today.
"Okay what's their in breakfast !" she asked toying with her phone.
"What you always eat oily monster." someone said and Annika rolled her eyes recognizing the voice.
"I didn't ask you" she said turning towards him but bumped into him
"You enjoy bumping into me don't you?" he ask holding her by shoulders and made her stand properly. All the while staring into her eyes.
Maybe it was an illusion but his voice sounded soft and playfulness, husky to be precise.
"Oh please! Don't think so high of yourself." she came back with reply soon.
Taking his hands off her shoulder he stared back at her for moment then said.
"Accept it either you are clumsy or you like bumping in me".
"Whatever" she said before leaving him with her elder brother who was noticing everything.
"Why don't you tell her or at least try to tell her." Aditya said walking up to him beside the sofa.
Shivaay shook his head at the question
They all will never understand that he doesn't love her. It's just his way of bothering her.
