☆"Live what you have now"☆***
Sometimes when you're overwhelmed by a situation - when you're in the darkest of darkness and still see a beam of light - that's when your priorities are reordered.
Her gaze flickered as slowly tears lined up in her eyes. She felt overwhelmed with the events , she almost lost hope , she attended the wedding, everyone was unnecessarily worried for her, the embarrassment her father had to face and family had to go through in her absence , Aditya was not talking to her. It was all her darkness and then this was the man who was like a ray of light. Giving her a reason to keep going.
He walked up to her and took her in hug. He knew she needed it.
"Don't worry, everything will be fine. He's not angry."
"I know he's not angry , if he was angry then he wouldn't have had looked at me in the eye." she spoke parting away a bit.
"Then why are there tears in your eyes ? " He still held her close to him by shoulders.
"I just got a bit overwhelmed by the contrasting emotions. At one side bhai got married and other side I am aware that mom would be red with anger."
"You know your mother too well !" He remarked
"Did you reveal something to bhai ?" She asked ignoring his previous statement.
Shivaay knew she was not dumb to not know about his involvement in everything. After all she knew him , Aditya and Madhuri too very well.
"What makes you think I have told him something? " He asked
"I know you are behind all this!" She was sure of it.
"I did nothing, just kept my promise" he answered as he took back his hands from her shoulder.
"Promise ?"
"Yeah ! I promised you that today Aditya will happily get married to Sanam , didn't I? "
Realization dawned upon her slowly and she walked to the railing.
"And even if I didn't do anything then also your brother would have done the same thing." He added
"I know , but what did you do? " She was curious to know how he had made Madhuri helpless enough to bow down.
"Have I ever asked you what your secret is?" He questioned back
"But.."
"Live what you have now , Annika." He didn't let her speak.
"We, not events, have the power to make us happy or unhappy today. We can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. We have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it. What are you choosing?"
She kept looking at him and he kept staring at oblivion. Neither she answered his question nor he needed her too.

Aditya took a deep breath before he entered his room. His gaze sauntered in the the room and didn't spot his newly wedded wife anywhere.
Glancing at the bathroom door which was locked from outside he moved to the balcony.
Her small figure sitting on the swing in a black night suit relaxing came to his vision and he smiled.
After all the struggle and problems he finally had her beside him for a forever.
