Madhuri went pale as she looked up at creeping on the door. Aditya was on his knees with eyes bloodshot and a few tears slipping out. It was unexpected. She hurriedly gathered herself along with her emotions. Joining the pieces of Madhuri Singhal the world knew. Hiding her real shade again..

She took tentative steps towards him when he gestured her to stop where she was. Her presence around him was suffocating and he didn't wish to talk to her. Or hear her lies.

"Adi.."

"Please don't!" He looked at the floor still on his knees not looking at her.

"You heard me, didn't you!"

His response made her drop the facade. Her own words were meant to be a question but sounded like a statement.

"Indeed you have." She stated more surely as he didn't look at her.

Aditya gulped the lump in his throat and took a breath in. Regaining his composure , being the controlled man he always strived to be.

"Yes, now I know it all." He stood up looking at her with no emotions. Madhuri tilted her head a small bit expecting more. When he didn't speak anything more than that she signed.

"About your sister I can atleast assume her reaction, her next step. But you have taken after your mother. I can never guess what goes on up there."

Hearing about his mother, real mother he didn't know and who wasn't alive made the feeling of being cheated even more piercing.

"I can't believe you're so sadistic!" He whispered to himself but she heard it anyway. He turned around to go away.

"You can say whatever you want but it won't make me regret anything." He halted listening to her.

"Even if you regret and apologize it wouldn't change anything!" His tone was calm and he wasn't looking at her with hatred or even dislike but he was blank.

"What if I tell you to not tell them anything and let things go on like they are except I won't bother that sister of yours now." She proposed taking steps towards him who stood silently near the stair where he had stopped.

"If I wasn't the one aware of what she went through, if I hadn't seen her vulnerable and yet brave enough to face you alone then I wouldn't have but I am unfortunately that person who took a mother's place in her life. And I will never let her live in anymore lies!" Aditya resumed his walk. Madhuri stood still in her place watching him leave.

She knew that her time was finally up. And things were going to worsen for for her. She was not scared to face the future but she was afraid to see Adhiraj.

The only thing she had earned from him in all these years was respect because he thought she raised his kids.

That would go away soon. He would hate her for her deeds and it was reasonable of him to do that

It was past midnight but Shivaay kept staring at the calm water of the pool. Sleep was away and how was he supposed to sleep when he knew that she was in the most difficult situation of her life.

Knowing  that all he could do was just be here waiting for her to ask for his involvement. He had full confidence that it was finally the end to her tragedies. However the mental trauma for it will be with her.

His phone buzzed as the screen lit up. He picked it up reading the message.

I am on my way back

He quickly messaged Sanam and Annika that Aditya would be back in sometime. However Aditya hadn't mentioned anything about his mother. This was not a good thing.
