She'd lie ∆

"So, in a nutshell I need your help and I will not take a no." She leaned back on the comfy couch picking up her mug as she finally stopped stirring her coffee.

He inhaled a deep breath and said nothing for a minute absorbing her words.

" So you are telling me that your fiance's mother thinks that we have something between us. And for a odd reason you don't want to clear the misconception because it's a solution to your problem.

"And" he raised his brows in amazement "on the top of all this you are telling me to keep this all to myself and act like we are together."

"Just a correction, he's not my fiance and won't be ever at least not in this life time" she statedd with a sign of irritation.

"Your brother will forget that he's my best friend and would hunt me down!" He reasoned.

"I'll handle Bhai!" She countered

"That's not the point Annika. Do you realize that by this you are going to complicate things more?"

She blinked already aware of the fact. Her plans were immature and could cause harm to the already worse situation.

"I don't find any other way!" She said in defense.

He looked away from her. She narrowed her eyes staring at him pouting. This was not reaction she had anticipated. He was supposed to irritate her by teasing her and then act all pricy until she begged for his help but in the last he was supposed to help her!

"I know sometimes it seems like you are the only one in the world who's struggling, who's frustrated, unsatisfied and barely getting by. But Annika, that shouldn't stop you from considering options you have"

Seeing her listening to him keenly he decided to simplify his advice for her.

"The best thing you can do to stop this wedding is say a no. Not to Adi but infront of everyone. And tell Sameer to do the same."

She sipped on her beverage and kept quiet. She was pondering over his words he could tell that , he knew even after agreeing with him her fear would try to stop her.

"I think I'd try." She spoke and he was surprised to hear that. She didn't let her fear rule over herself.

"Great! I think you should do this at the earliest" he suggested.

She nodded in agreement but didn't say anything. He knew with his words there was something else in her mind running around.

Shivaay stared at seat in infront of him where minutes ago she was sitting. He slowly released a breath out worry for her. She was in so much pressure mentally.

Today her decision of faking an affair with him just proofed it. But he also knew that no matter what some or the other way she will have face a hurdle.

The offer sounded tempting to his ears. Faking to date her will make her closer be to him but he didn't actually want to fake that especially to break the engagement. He wanted no questions on their relationship.
