☆ Reminiscing the past ☆

Shivaay glanced at her feet she was shaking, kept fidgeting with the strap of the Gucci's bag in her lap and not to miss the cringe on her forehead.

He signed and he decided to ask
"What is it Annika?"

She was quite for a second then spoke acting casual "nothing"

"There's something bothering you better tell me, maybe I can help" he pursed his lips to stop saying more, they should always have a border between them.

She didn't reply and he released a tired sign and spoke "why you always have to be so hard Annika, there's no harm in being normal for once"

She bit her lips to keep herself from snapping at him rudely, even though he was just trying to help.

"Annika" he took her name indicating he was waiting for an answer.

"I just don't wish to go home now, can do anything about it?", she yelled hard, so hard that he closed his eyes.

"Then where do you wish to visit at nine thirty at night?" sarcasm dripping from his tone irritated her.

"If you can't do anything about it then don't interfere in my problems" she said rudely and he turned quite after it. She turned to the window looking outside.

She felt guilty for being rude when he was just trying to help but she couldn't help. She didn't wish to go home reason, her very own mother was waiting for her to talk about something 'important'. And Annika didn't wish to answer any of her questions.

Yes! Talking with her mother meant only answering her questions for Annika. Not laughing, nor irritating, not learning ,no chiding but just answering her questions which she would throw at her.

She was so lost that she didn't notice he had changed the direction and they were going through a different route.

Sometimes she wondered how her mother behaved all sweetly with Aditya, just like a mother should. And even to her but only when someone was around. But all her love was fake , she loved none of them!

She got back to the present when he stopped the car. It was a garden ,very familiar one, it was the backyard of the Singhal villa!

She turned to him but he was already outside. He opened the door and held out his hand for her, just like every time she was with him. Oberoi manners were something to talk about.

"What are we doing here? We should have entered through the main entrance" She voiced out

"You didn't wish to go home and Adi told me drop you home , so I brought you here. No one comes here generally right?" He confirmed even though he knew that the back yard was hardly used. The front garden was more utilized for parties and formal or family breakfast or bunches and one could find her father strolling there in the evening when he's home.

They both walked alongside each other silently. The night was calm. She sat down on the grass and took off her wedges. He too joined her.

A smile crept up on her face remembering something very familiar, how just like today she sat there alone at the very place and he had joined her seven years ago.

"Do you remember something?" She heard him and chuckled, a small smile formed on his face too.

That night had too many memories, some hurt her and some just stayed locked in her heart.

"You remember?" She questioned looking at him.

"Weird right how of all people I was there with you seven years ago and I am here with you seven years later again at the same place. " he was nostalgic she was sure.
