"I can't do this, Michael." I sigh. Michael turns away from the television screen where he is playing on the Xbox.
"Huh?" He asks, obviously confused.
"Luke." I say simply.
"You don't have to continue if you don't want to." He shrugs, but I can hear the disappointment in his voice. What Luke did to Calum was bad, but I haven't seen Luke act in the way that they described.
"I've fucked up." I say eventually, and burst into tears, Michael immediately pauses whatever game he is playing and consoles me.
"What? How? Why?" He asks while hugging me, I don't hug him back, but I don't pull away.
"I caught the feels." I whisper, then laugh with no humour.
"I'm such an idiot." I mutter to myself.
"No...no....it's my fault, I made you get close to him, don't blame yourself, you can't control your feelings." Michael reassures.
"Eurgh, I'm sorry, I've been crying so much lately." I sigh, leaning away from his embrace, and he immediately releases me.
"Your not crying for attention though, your doing it for a reason." Michael reassures.
"You wanna know something?" I tell Michael, and he nods waiting for my answer.
"You're my first friend." I tell him.
"What, really?" He grins.
"Yep. I had no friends in England." I tell him truthfully, and he smiles wider.
"Well Faith-I-have-no-middle-name Smith. I feel honoured." He says, which makes me laugh. How did I ever get a friend like Michael.
I'm sorry, I can't talk to you again.
My thumb hovers over the send button, before I close my eyes and press it, it's best for both of us. I can't get anymore feelings for him, and he'll be annoyed when he finds out the reason I got close to him was to get back at him for sleeping with Calum's girlfriend. Why did I ever agree to that? I don't even know the name of this girl yet I'm trying to get Luke back for it.
I chuck my phone over the other side of the room and pull the covers over myself, hiding from the world, I hear my phone buzz multiple times, but I don't make any move to pick it up. I just want to be alone.
