I've ran from everything my whole entire life. I ran from my responsibilities in school, I ran from my parents deaths by coming here but for once I'm going to face my problems.
I know I have mascara running down my face from tears, but I'm walking with purpose towards the place I need to go. Calum's.
Instead of knocking on his door, I go through the back entrance to the window I know is Calum's. I grab some little stones from the gravel path, and throw some at his window. After a few moments he pops up in front of the blind with a face of thunder.
"What are you doing. It's two o'clock in the morning?" Calum yawns.
"I need to know about Imogen." I tell him.
"Come on up." He sighs.
After waiting for him to unlock the back door I follow him up the stairs to his room.
"So, Imogen?" He asks. I nod and he reaches into a box underneath he's bed (we're both sitting cross legged on his rug). He takes a photograph out of the box and hands it to me.
"She's real pretty." I tell him, and I'm being truthful. The image shows her and Calum, it doesn't look like it was too long ago, maybe a year? She has long dark hair and a pale face, and blue eyes which are evident in the picture due to their iridescence.
"I know." He hums, smiling slightly at the picture before putting it back in the box.
"Do you know where she is?" I ask seriously.
"I do." He murmurs slightly, I widen my eyes at this.
"Luke said that no one knows where she is." I wonder.
"Before she left, before she cheated on me, she said she had family in Canada, and I think that's where she went." He tells me confidently.
"So you don't know for definite?" I clarify.
"She sent me a letter from Canada telling me to forget her. I was still angry and tore up the letter, I wish I didn't." He sighs in frustration and runs a hand through his already messy hair.
"I've fucked up." I sigh. Calum gives me a questioning look.
"I told Luke about how I was trying to make him fall for me. He ran." I explain, and Calum nods in thought.
"Go to his house." He tells me and I blink in confusion.
"That's the last thing I was going to do." I laugh slightly.
"This is not the Faith I met, you would have been at his house minutes after he left." Calum says and I agree with him, I should have followed him.
"What if he's not at his house?" I worry, and Calum rolls his eyes,
"Just go!" He exclaims, and I grin at him, before rushing out of his house.
