Relax

Kara was just about to start getting ready for dinner with Lena when she received a text:

Lena: Sorry darling, my meeting is going to be running late. I won't be able to make it.

Kara: That's ok! We can do it another time.

Kara decided to run to the store quick and pick up the ingredients for Lena's favorite food. Once she got back, she started cooking it. Just as everything got done cooking, Kara received another text, telling her that Lena was on her way up to their apartment. Lena entered the apartment with a sigh, taking off her heels. "I'm sorry again about dinner, everything ran over schedule today." She paused, noticing the smell coming from the kitchen. "Surprise! I figured you'd be stressed after such a long day, so I made your favorite." Kara says, carrying the plates over to the table. "What did I do to deserve you?" She asks, giving Kara a quick kiss. "Being yourself, come sit." Kara pulls Lena's chair out for her. Lena smiles gratefully, taking her seat. 

After eating dinner, Kara takes the dishes into the kitchen to wash them. Lena had tried to do them herself, but Kara insists that she does the dishes while Lena takes a relaxing bath. In the time Lena took her bath, Kara had finished all the dishes and went upstairs. Lena comes out of the en-suite bathroom in some comfy pajamas, finding Kara laying down in their bed. "Thank you, this was really nice." She says, laying down next to her girlfriend. "No problem, want to watch a movie?" Kara asks, turning on the TV. "Wizard of Oz?" That had quickly become the couples favorite movie. Kara's because she just really loved the movie, and Lena's because she loved it when Kara sang along to all the songs. Lena makes it about halfway through before falling asleep cuddled up to Kara.
