Kara quickly flies back home, as she was very excited. Her and Lena's son, who was already so close to turning one, despite the couple both feeling like the tiny child was just born last week, was going to be experiencing his first ever Halloween. He wouldn't be able to do much, since he's still a baby, but it was still exciting.
"Leo, Lena, I'm home!" The hero calls out.
"Hey, it's just me." Lena greets her, giving her wife a quick kiss on the cheek. "Alex and Kelly picked up Leo a little while ago, said they had the perfect costume for him." This makes Kara pout a bit.
"I thought that he was going as a lion, for Leo." Kara says in a questioning tone.
"It doesn't have to be his actual costume we take him trick or treating in. Alex seemed like she was up to something, so I have a feeling it will be a joke costume, but I just decided to let her have her fun." Lena explains. The blonde nods, that definitely sounds like something her sister would do.
"Oh, I brought back breakfast." Kara points out, holding up a bag of Lenas favorite pastries from Paris, and an espresso from Italy.
Lena gets a big smile on her face when she notices the familiar bag. "You made a pit stop to Paris?" She questions. Kara gets a similar lovesick grin as she nods.
"I did, I figured I'd surprise you with some of your favorites." Kara tells her, moving to set the bag and travel mug of coffee down on the table. As she does so, Lena gives her another kiss, this time on the lips, to express her gratitude.
"Merci chérie. Qui aurait deviné que le fait de savoir Supergirl a ses avantages?"(1) Hearing her wife speak French nearly makes Kara melt, but she manages to sit down in the chair, as opposed to falling.

"I see your French lessons are paying off." The CEO praises, taking a sip of her favorite drink with a hum. Kara nods as she finishes chewing.
"Thanks for that by the way, now you won't have to translate for me at much when you speak French."
After finishing their breakfast, the couple hears a knock at the door. Kara uses her super hearing as Lena goes to answer it and she hears the familiar baby giggle that always manages to put a smile on the hero's face. Next, she hears a surprised laugh. Kara, remembering what Lena had mentioned before about Alex seemingly being up to something, walks over to the front door as well.
"I'm sorry, I tried to stop her." Kelly says, not sounding like she actually meant the statement whatsoever. Kara looks anything but impressed, a scowl on her face, meanwhile, Alex is laughing so hard she probably can't breathe properly.
"You should see the look on your face." Alex wheezes as Lena takes Leo back so she doesn't drop him in her amusement, even she was chuckling a bit. Leo giggles along with everyone else, despite not understanding the joke. Kara simply glares at Alex until she eventually calms down.
"You're never allowed to dress him unsupervised again." The blonde states, the whole crew knows she was joking, but she still manages to sound serious as Alex smirks. She reaches out to take the baby's pudgy little arm and gently shakes it at Kara.
"Why so serious?" She questions, attempting to make her voice sound low and raspy.
"That was the Joker, babe." Kelly reminds with a small laugh. Alex rolls her eyes as she tries again.
"Criminals are like weeds, Alfred; pull one up, another grows in its place." Lena laughs at that one too until Kara turns her, now playful, glare upon her wife too.
"Come on darling, he looks adorable, you have to admit that at least." Lena states, holding their son out to Kara, who of course takes him. His fluffy black hair is even styled a bit to look like Bruce Wayne. Leo stares up at Kara with his big blue eyes, filled to the brim with confusion at why everyone was still laughing. She sighs, knowing that the kid does look absolutely adorable.
"Alright, we can take Batman trick or treating."
