Wedding

"Ms. Luthor? A letter just got delivered for you." Jess announces, knocking on the office door. "You can come in." Lena tells her, looking away from the stack of papers on her desk. She places the letter on her desk before leaving. Lena inwardly panics at what was inside. It was an invitation to a wedding. Jacks wedding. The man that she had been dating, up until a year ago, invited her to his wedding. 

"Wait, what? Let me get this straight, he's marrying someone that he's been with for less than a year." Lena nods. "You guys dated for two years." Another nod. "But he never proposed to YOU?" Kara rants, gesturing to Lena, who took another sip of her wine. "Yup, that about sums it up. I've decided I'm not going though." "That's exactly what he wants Lee! He's showing you that he's moved on, you need to prove that you have too." "But I haven't." Lena says, confused. "Yes you have. We are going to that wedding, and we're going to show him just how happy you are without him." Kara takes a sip from her wine as well, clearly starting to get drunk. "Kara, I don't think that would turn out well." Lena warns, not wanting to fake date the girl she has a crush on.

"Flight 253 to Hawaii, now boarding"  

"That's us, ready to go, girlfriend?" Kara asks with a light laugh. "As ready as I'll ever be." Lena sighs. She hadn't been able to say no to Kara, so they were now on their way to Jacks wedding... as girlfriends. Kara practically skipped to her seat, very excited to get to Hawaii. Once Lena took her seat next to her, Kara grabbed her hand, Lena noticing it was a bit tighter than normal. "You ok?" "Just nervous." Lena nods in understanding, holding her hand as well. 

"Hey Lena, glad you could make it! Who's this?" Jack asks, walking over to them when they arrive. "This is Kara, my girlfriend." A surprised look appears on his face. "Thank you for the invite, I've been looking for an excuse to get Lena to go on vacation for a while." Kara tells him with a smile, holding out a hand, which Jack shakes after a moment. "No problem at all, I never knew you had a girlfriend." "We've only really told close friends and family." Lena says, still holding Kara's hand. "We like being able to have privacy." Kara adds, giving Lena a kiss on the cheek. Lena blushes as Jack shows them which of the huts they'd be staying in. "Everyone will be going out for drinks later, you guys should join us once you're all settled in." They both nod, waving to him before going inside their hut. Lena sets her stuff down before realizing a very important detail:

There was only one bed.
