Kara was having Brainy do some research on the new Earth they were in. After their last one was destroyed, sending them into a new one, they decided to do a bit of searching to see what was different. They had already figured out that Lex owns the DEO now, sending Lena into a tailspin, when Brainy speaks up again.
"You may want to sit down for this Lena." He warns his friend, who looks up at him confused.
"I already found out that my brother is the leader of the DEO, and now you tell me to sit down?" The woman starts. "I doubt there's anything worse than that."
Kara watches as Brainy moves from his computer over to Lena, putting his hands on her shoulders and making her sit down.
"I wouldn't say this news is worse, based on the information you have shared with me in the past, but it will certainly shock you." Brainy starts as he goes back to his computer, pulling up the news article he had been reading. Kara cringes internally as an image of Lex appears in front of her. "Lena, your mother is alive."
Lena looks confused for a moment. "Brainy, Lillian has been ali-" She cuts herself off once she reads part of the article.
A quote from Lex Luthor himself: "Lillian will always be my mother, and I love her for that, but I'm glad that my father found love again with Elizabeth Walsh."
Kara looks back to Lena after reading the article herself, the woman's eyes were wide and had a slightly glossy look to them. The room remained silent as Lena fully took in the information.
"Kara?" The hero hears how loudly the brunette woman swallows between sentences. "C-Can you take me to the Luthor mansion?" Kara instantly nods, speeding over to Lena. She picks her up in a bridal carry before flying off.

Kara lands just outside the mansion, gently setting Lena down. She watches as Lena runs over to the door and knocks. It takes a minute, but the door eventually opens to reveal a woman looking very similar to Lena, but older.
"Lena, honey, how-" The first thing both women notice is the clear Irish accent, before the older woman gets cut off by Lena pulling her into a tight hug.. She realizes that Elizabeth has different memories than her, and is just glad that the woman even recognized her. After a while of Lena holding the woman as tight as she could, she eventually pulls away, allowing Elizabeth to continue. "How are you, my dear?" Lena swallows again, tensely, before answering.
"Good, I'm good." The raven-haired woman starts, clearly still struggling to process that her Mom was alive in this new universe. "How are you, Mother?" Elizabeth looks confused at the title, making both Kara and Lena tense up. Was she not Lena's mom on this earth? Did they just reveal they were from a different earth to her?
"Why the formal title, Lena? You've always just called me Mom." Lena lets out a sigh of relief.
"Right, I guess I'm just still in the work mindset." She quickly recovers, while Elizabeth opens the door further, inviting them in.
Lena walks in first, before turning back. "Are you coming, Supergirl?" Kara shakes her head.
"I'm ok, you should spend some time with her." Lena quickly shakes her own head in response.
"Kara, I need you." She whispers, being sure to be quiet enough her mom couldn't hear her conversation. Kara softens and nods, following Lena and Elizabeth into the Luthor mansion.
As Elizabeth leads them through the house, clearly knowing where she's going, Lena looks around at all the pictures in the house, those were new, she thought. She tries to put some of the pieces together in an attempt to understand what the past was in this new universe.
