Just a Simulation

On one of the very rare off days that Kara had from being Supergirl, she decided to play the sims. One of her newer friends had introduced her to the game recently, and she wanted to try it out. She downloaded the game onto her laptop and started it. Kara was immediately threatened with her first decision, making her household. She eventually decided to be true to life, making in-game versions of herself and her roommate. 

Lena comes home a few hours later, looking for Kara. "Kar? You home?" She calls out as she enters. Kara, who had been sitting on the couch, turns her screen away suddenly. "Lee, I didn't expect you home so soon." Lena gets a teasing smirk on her face and sits next to Kara. "Were you watching porn or something? You're being suspicious." Kara's face immediately goes red. "N-No." She defends herself. Lena crosses her arms, raising an eyebrow at the blonde. "Liar."

What was Kara supposed to do in this situation? She was stuck in a corner. On one hand, she could let Lena believe she had been watching... adult videos (NO) or, she could show Lena her game. The later didn't sound like a terrible idea, except for the fact that Kara had gotten a bit carried away in her virtual world, to say the least. Virtual Kara had much more confidence and had actually confessed her feelings for her roommate. To make a long story short, they were now married. They had a beautiful house together, an amazingly adorable son, and another baby that virtual Lena was currently adopting.

"Umm. I'm just... writing an article, for Catco." she decides on. "We've been living together a few months now; I can tell when you're lying darling." Kara sighs, knowing she had been caught. She turns the screen toward the woman. Lena looks confused a moment before taking the laptop, looking at the game. "It's a simulation game. You make characters and the game decides what happens to them, it's pretty funny." Kara explains. Lena was looking around the virtual house when a few options come up. "If the game decides everything, then how come I'm able to make our characters kiss?"

Kara opens her mouth, but no noise comes out. She was trying to come up with an answer when she receives a response. "I think this simulation might be one we can make happen." Lena says quietly as she clicks the 'Kiss' interaction.
